That’s where it gets weird:

When I click the link, this is what comes up

Makes me wonder if it’s a regional thing?

Oh weird, so maybe it is a regional thing? Maybe see if you can enter in a different zip & ship to store? I know sometimes the system won't let you do that if the ship to store has stock. Or ship to home but not sure if there's free shipping for this item.

Or trying showing the store this screenshot.

are those pass through sockets that come with that husky serp belt kit? Could be worth it just for pass through sockets and wrench. I've already got a lisle serp belt tool that I like

Just picked up a set, more for the low profile through sockets, for 25$ it's a nice set, the HD in Patchogue LI had about 6 more.

Noticed I had some missing allens after the toolbox move (the old Craftsman sets in the grey and black plastic pouches) so I rectified that and snagged the low profile pulley puller on sale while I was at it. Seen that thing work very well too many times to count.

So I bought this "mess" gun. :dunno:

Doesn't matter if it's a manual pump gun or this thing, I always get more grease on me than the damn thing being greased.
sigh...

Anywho, I'm ready for my massage now. ;) lol

Hi Fastbird,

I have never seen a low profile pulley puller! It is cool looking!

Do you have a part # for the OEMTools pulley puller?

Where did you buy it on sale?

Thanks,

Dave

Picked this up off my buddy this afternoon. Miller Spoolmate 150, 4 spools of aluminum wire, new pack of .030” tips. Box is beat up but otherwise brand new in the box, never used.

I received my slide hammer kit.

I’ve never owned one, always borrowed one. I keep running into situations where one would be handy.

After the POS Bosch sander last week, I purchased this Metabo. This is the China version, not Germany. While I would have like the Germany version, almost $300.00 was out of my price range.
I’ll give it a try sometime next week.

Finally made it to the store today.

They were marked at the $25 price, but showed a different price online.

Thanks everyone for the heads up, and for the tips. I’m looking forward to using this.

Just a couple odds and ends today:

attachment.php

Some extractors in smaller sizes.

Socket is made in Taiwan, where I suspected Wera was probably going to be Eastern Europe somewhere, like the screwdrivers and other Wera stuff that I've picked up over the years. I'm not concerned with Taiwanese COO for a tiny 5.5mm socket, but thought thought some would find it interesting if nothing else.

Finally got around to picking up the Husky 46" tool chest and complimentary workbench from HD that's been there since Wednesday. I couldn't get there on time so it had to wait till the weekend.

Going to be rearranging, organizing and renovating the garage and this was the nucleus from which all else works since I need to organize my tools before doing much else.

Will he going to Ikea next Monday to buy a bunch of cabinetry. Will update my garage build thread as I go along.

most Wera and Wiha bits are not now made in oversea, wouldn't surprise me sockets too.

Took advantage of the gear wrench discount going on at ACME tools. Went all in in Gearwrench 90 tooth. I’ve used the 120xp and 84 tooth in the past. These seem to work just as well. Hammer because of free shipping

Few new tools

Infrared thermometer

And

CDI torque wrench 752MFRMH
3/8 drive 5-75 ft/lbs

It's replacing a cheap no name AutoZone torque wrench I bought when in a pinch, a while ago. The scale doesn't even line up correctly

Just found these on cl, don't buy much but sounded interesting, a set of Martin hydraulic wrenches and a proto punch and chisel set both appear to be new. So I paid 20$ for the wrenches, never heard of them but they were USA made, the proto was a no brainer for 15$, I get home and look them up, the Martin OB18K go for 430$ and the proto were a 180$. Sometimes it pays to check out the odd tools for sale ads. Even the pouches were in good shape.

I was on the Home Depot website looking at Milwaukee tools that can take the place of air pneumatic tools as I wanted to get an air compressor but dont think i will...especially with the offerings like battery operated ratchets, die grinders, 3/8 snub nose impact and so on.... this popped up and was a total no brainer for me! I have been wanting to get a smaller impact anyway and with the bonus 1/4 ratched, uh yeah, I am in! saved a $100 bucks!

My Bosh driver(small impact) drives 3/8 8in long lag bolts all day without running down the batt. Bosh tools are really good but not cheap.

Should have picked up the 5.5 mm socket with nut holding feature. Makes installing removing those tiny fasteners under the dash on ac actuators much easier, no more dropped fasteners.

I don't think any of the new color coded Wera tools are made anywhere but Taiwan. I have some older sockets that came from the Cech Republic. I like Wera sockets a side from their laser etched size markings.
