When the wheel nut on the car is torqued to 442 lbf/ft. you better have a 3/4 inch breaker bar along in case the local shop it gets towed to does not have one (and you cannot use an impact gun). And the breaker bar better be compact so that it can be stored in the car.

I picked these up from Amazon for removing hoses. IPS PH-200 Non-marring Plastic Jaw Soft Touch Slip Joint Pliers, and a set of replacement jaws.

Harbor Freight air dryer. I went against my principles in buying this thing, but at roughly half the cost of the other brands I was looking at... Fingers crossed.

A score at an estate sale. Never used and seemingly well built.

Very nice. Is that straight out of the box or did you bleach the grips? Good thing I don’t live near Denver any more. Those guys got a lot of my money at the factory store.

Well, wrong reply. Not sure how that happened. Definitely user error. But, I was looking at your post too. Let us know how that turns out. :)

That's natural G10, it's a bit translucent. Looks like glow in the dark stuff but it doesn't glow in the dark. Some knife guys call it jade green G10 or ghost G10.

Correct. It's a sprint run they did for BladeHQ. Only way to get the Paramiltary 2 in tanto in m4. And I love the contrast of black and "jade"

Yup nice. I'm a knife guy too. Haven't been following knives much for the past couple of years so I wasn't aware of the sprint release but when I saw yours I knew it had to be a BladeHQ exclusive.

Picked up this virtually complete Cornwell MRK2 ratchet repair set:

attachment.php

It includes (4) 1/4" repair kits, (4) 3/8" repair kits and (2) 1/2" repair kits for the 30-tooth ratchets (my personal fav), along with spare balls, springs, snap ring pliers and specialty ball installation tools:
attachment.php

I decided to consolidate the Matco and Snap-On ball installation tools here as well:
attachment.php

Best of all, it fits just perfect in the "ratchet parts" drawer:
attachment.php

I really only wanted a couple of the 3/8" drive repair kits but sometimes you get lucky. For $150, I was certainly not going to hesitate. :rocker:

I think I am set for life on Cornwell ratchet parts now. Hopefully the balls and maybe even the springs can be used for other applications, but if not, at least I have spares. :D

Some people use normal vise grips but if you have a strut that only leaks when its cold, nicking the hard rod can wreck the seal and completely release all the gas left in the shock. Once I got them tho I was like holy **** this little guy is that much money.

They were also back ordered since nov i think.

Nice..... like me...95bb6427d2a0339f2600a5e4efcf5009.jpg

One does not "buy" that box full of ratchet parts. Where did you find it? Were you a Snap On dealer?
I bought kits from a dealer and most of those are proto kits.... I like spare kits in case a ratchet broke... but now have tons of ratchets.

I need to stop following, not helping the bank account lol. I've always carried one, but now I have all the utility covered, I'm getting into more luxury like that one. It'll still be used, but not abused like the rest.

And I ordered another sprint run....

So these are from the latest sk steals and deals, yes, I know there's a thread for that. Picked up the flex head from the last time and now these are here. Pneumatic bolt rattler, probably should have bought one a while ago. And a 3/8" LP90. It did come a little stiff, I don't mind if I'm going to put a cheater on it for that reason(some of you will get that). I soaked it overnight in transmission fluid, and it loosened up a bit.

First post with today's arrivals.

Mostly "specialist" stuff for my Audi: Fluid bottle, pressure pump with gauge for leak testing with two coolant bottle adaptors, vice grips set (4), 13mm ratcheting wrench, 10mm xzn socket and 10mm long ribe socket (for engine bolts), 30 &34mm 12point deep sockets (for axle nut) 17 18 19 3/8 crowfoots, 2 spreader tools (for removing strut), caliper piston wind back tool, 1/4 secure torx set and last, cv boot tool for newest stainless steel clamps (uses 3/8 torque wrench).

About 175 euros vat free all, most are BGS, which is a german company selling non german made tools.
