I’ve been looking for USA made 1/2” sockets but couldn’t justify paying hundreds of $ for something I won’t be using often. Although made in North America is my preference, I found some Kobalt SAE and Metric 1/2” (0338618 & 0338619) sockets at Lowes for $20 each on sale and bought them. They’re made in Taiwan and seem decent. Has anyone had any experience using these? Are they accurate and made to tight tolerances? Thanks!

Terrible! They're gonna explode the first time you look at em sideways...

Nah. Totally fine.

I have a few sets of kobalt socket made in the last couple years, mostly bought at blowout prices as they moved to craftsman and never had a problem with any of em.

Are these the same as the Quinn and Pittsburgh sockets? The colored lines makes me think they are the same.
