Part of my collection. I need to make a new display, I've got too many now for that 2×4b8fa6800b93bd6109aa16938e570c8d1.jpgfffb5f5839f6ab436c0474a56a27c45a.jpg

I have the Craftsman opener shown above but never use it as I keep it in the garage and never drink there.

I like opening bottles with another closed bottle using the caps to open the other bottle.

I have an awesome flat brass opener that I’ll try to find a picture of. Works very well.

Anything firm that can be used as a lever will work - including a cheap water bottle. But this is my favorite.

Used to start my 1979 Ford Fairmont with a cheap bottle opener by spanning the posts on the solenoid.

I “repurposed” this 9/16 for beer service a while back. Works like a charm!

I've got half a dozen Grainbelt stamped openers from back in the day, but the edge of a workbench top or the heel of my boot works great. Just recently learned one of the 1911 tricks and got a kick outta that. Ive got a Jeep grill keychain that I use the most, usually because when Im drinking something that needs an opener Im not at home.

It's beefier than a wrench, and could be a real tool for other purposes. 0a737d819bba1f0d5ab7ab3f1c236620.jpgc6ab309379bd0c6479e270a07860b332.jpg

This is what I have, plus some similar to the opening post, but those are buried in boxes.

When we were kids, a marina in town had soda machines, but they always stacked wooden crates of Coke right near the machine. We would go through the motions of using the machine, then sneak a bottle out of the open cases. It was warm, but it was 'free'. We were too paranoid to use the opener on the machine, so we would ride down the road a bit, then pry the caps off with the front sprocket on our bicycles. That was pretty much the extent of my life of crime.
