How do I DELETE a post or EDIT a thread TITLE?

Respectfully, removing the option to delete a post was NOT a good idea.

and why can I not FIX the title of a thread? The "edit" feature does not allow me to edit the thread TITLE.

you should be able to edit a thread title by going into "go advanced" tab .
Pretty sure that's still available. otherwise a MOd can change the title.

Using the go advanced tab will only edit the thread title on the current post.

To do either you would have to PM a mod to do it for you.

And the why I'm sure is because of past op's abusing the system and making thread useless by deleting or changing all their posts .

It edits the original post & any new post should have the new title.
when a Mod changes the title, only the first post is edited, and any new posts from then on.

No a mod edits the thread title on either the main forum page(double click on the title) or in the thread edit drop down menu.

corect, but if a mod edits the thread title, it only changes the first post and subsequent posts too .

I posted 2 posts with original title test, edited the title & posted another post.
only the first & subsequent post has the new title

You are a mod so of course you can edit the title us mere mortals can't

based on your test post it looks like users can edit the post titles but not the thread titles.

PM a Mod or request it here.

Deleting posts feature was taken away after a few members decided to wreak havoc deleting hundreds of their posts rendering some threads useless.

Feel free to shoot me a PM when you need something fixed, I'm around most of the time, except for the last few weeks, just been hectic like busy around here. Doing either isn't a big deal.
