Why does Classifieds Require a Price (in an entry field)?

Trying to post some items for sale but it won't let me without adding a price in the required field.

We are also required to post multiple items in one thread? What if everything is a different price?

I tried doing it on Tapatalk but it said "invalid, price required" yet there's no spot to put one. I didn't see it until I logged onto the desktop version. I attached a screenshot, it's mid-page

Someone else said that... No idea how it could be working given I don't have the plugin installed... Having a bit of an argument with Tapatalk over user privacy.

I haven't logged out yet, maybe that would do it.

I've been using it for close to 9 years or so now, seen forums come and go

I'm a huge advocate for it, but I haven't seen your side of it, just makes the whole experience easier to navigate IMO

I'm not sure how the picture things work, but it seems easier through the Tapatalk app

Taptalk is free. Think about it... NOTHING is really free. They want your user data. They want to sell your user data... And I won't let them have it... So, they are trying to hardball me. I was grandfathered into their old terms and services that didn't give them access to user data. Now that I've changed formats, they are saying I'm out...

If they stick with that, I will remove Tapatalk entirely. User privacy and security was the #1 reason I switched to Xenforo.

Why not let the user decide if their data is sold?

I am grandfathered into TapaTalk's old TOS. Meaning, I pay them to have a branded app as well as to use their service.

Since we changed platforms, they are saying I am not longer grandfathered. So, they don't want my money anymore.... Instead, they want to drop a cookie on every user's computer that allows them to be tracked by TapaTalk. They also want a full snapshot of my DB - which, of course, they will sell.

I know a lot of you are already on Facebook and gave up any sense of privacy you thought you had. But, I won't be a part of that... I won't be a part of that - no matter the consequences.

Privacy is crazy important to me.... Even if it isn't to some users.

Thank you for the insight from your end, might be time for some other forum apps to step up, haven't seen one as simple to use unfortunately.
