That looks in amazing condition for the year and miles.

More importantly though, that is possibly the most complete set of photos of a vehicle for sale I have ever seen. 105 High res, in focus shots of everything you would want to see.
Thats a nice Suburban. Going to be pretty a expensive one by the looks. Broken bolt(s) on exhaust manifold by the description. I'd want a closer look underneath as its a rust belt truck. Not that far away. Strouty I figured you would be all over that :)

I am not really interested in the newer GMT800s, also that 33k mike Burb is coming up in a week and I really want that, going to have to hold off on any big expenditures until I know if I won it or not. Unfortunately it is a sealed bid and they can refuse a bid for any reason.

Glad we got everything moved yesterday, after the next couple days of rain, I would have had to wait another week or two for the ground to firm up again.

I am probably going to unload the Lista boxes inside the Quonset hut, I need to find the “sway” braces, they were about $60 a set and I needed a lot of them, they are just thin steel with two holes, so I figured I would replicate them myself rather than spend another $540 on the additional ones, probably end up costing me $700 and a day’s labor……. ;)

Just how many forklifts are there? I thought there were about 4 or 5.

There were 4 complete forklifts and a stacker unit, Guido is proving to be a really decent forklift for the SG, of course my mechanic buddy wants to trade it for a heavier duty Clark, I may do it, I like his Clark forklift, it has larger more aggressive tires as well. Nothing like my Clark, but still pretty decent. His has a few leaks, not unlike Guido, but it doesn’t smoke and he says he doesn’t care. Back to the forklifts…. One is the permanent inside forklift for the salvage garage, one is going back to the Hill once we get it so it doesn’t leak, one is parts for those two forklifts, the stacker is going to scrap, then Guido is going to be the outside forklift for the SG at least for now. I have been keeping my eyes open for a 8k to 12k outdoor forklift, seems like that would be really useful for me.

We pulled the steering mechanism off the parts forklift, it is what is leaking on the keeper. Then we hauled the rest of it out back for the time being. I may just pull a few more thing off it and scrap it as well, but it is out of the shop.

Terrible start to the day, first the breakfast sandwiches that I order with no egg (I hate eggs) had egg on them, then it is raining (maybe that should be first), then I go to dig out the security battens from the Lista packages and there are none, so now I have to make my own from scratch completely. Kind of a PITA as now I have to setup one of each size and take measurements then make the braces instead of just using the ones I paid for as a template. I will be getting my money back.

:(

And now we got the skidded back together, but it is stuck in between gears and we can get it to move. Could be stuck in park too, but either way it is turning into a nightmare morning. :(

They say 6 to 8 weeks for a 1000 pound capacity lift, you have to wait 24 weeks to get the 6000 pound capacity ones. If you use a bit of hydraulic oil, it will speed things up by about a week…..

"Suburban Hospital"

I think "As my world turns upside down" is probably the closest to accurate most of the time.

Today our heat kicked on, almost June, crazy!

Also, anyone else having issues with Tapatalk or the GJ app? Tapatalk is just plain no go, the GJ app doesn't like my password and gives me error messages.

I ordered a bunch of ratchet straps and rigging hooks and related stuff, then I got carried away and ordered some of the corner blocks designed for the ISO Containers (conex boxes), I had been wanting to get some for a future project and shipping was substantially discounted, so I grabbed four. Now I need to buy the container locks, but those are more expensive and shipping will not be discounted on those. :(

Going to try and get some sleep, today was a very uneventful day, but it also rained from about 3 PM on, going to rain most of tomorrow as well.

I can say one thing for sure, I won't be posting as often and there will be far fewer photos. This isn't going to be fun, doing the photos in the old days was a lot of work to have them so they looked nice, tapatalk made all that very straight forward and almost seamless. This almost feels as bad as when photobucket deleted all my photos instead of downloading them to my computer and all my thread image links died too.

Uploading pictures is super easy on the mobile site. You can use the attach files button or the picture button. The picture button at the top of the box is how to get the big pictures to appear.

Ive been trying to tell you that for a week!
To be fair, you never explicitly told me to try the new format on the mobile browser............

;)

No one likes change.......

It is easy to get stuck into something like tapatalk. I will say that I was never really complaining about the new format, I liked the look and feel. I just didn't think it would work as well on the mobile browser, so that is where I was really wrong.

From a data standpoint, uploading lots of pictures could get ugly, but it would need to be a lot. From the perspective of fitting the screen, they seem to look fine without any input on my end.

If I just add a pic off my phone as an attachment it gives me a file too big error

Ok so the original file was 4 mb and when it uploaded it it was reduced to a 433 kb file. But it didn’t give any choices for how to embed it

When on your phone, click on the image icon, small rectangle with mountains in it, right next to the smiley face. This should open a window and let you access your photos directly on your phone. Don't use the attachment option, that is for files that aren't images. It isn't quite like I said, hold on and I will get some screen shots. This is on an iphone, I don't have an android to test it with, but I think it should have a similar interface with the phone.
