I guess another new "thing" is the "Maximum number of edits in 24 hours". I just had it happen to me. It's no big deal, but I type fast and sloppy and frequently notice mistakes, then go back and edit them. Just part of my overly ridiculous attmepts at perfection.

Oh, well, I guess everyone will find out how piss poor my grammar and typing really are.

I got bit by it a little while ago.
Annoying to say the least.

Edit:
I just saw Ryan's post about 15 per 24 hrs.
More than enough now.

This is no fun, first you change our format, then you take away both mobile apps, to top it all off the new format is better than anything I have used on my mobile device. I can’t even complain, what is this world coming to.

And, I’m not sharing your data with the Chinese Government. It’s a win/win!

Sssh, keep quite! Otherwise Ryan might punish us by changing this place to The Bathroom Journal & we'll only be allowed to talk about what beauty products & shower curtains to buy & the like. :wtf:

Can we please have the ability to "like" our own posts???
I can quote myself, why can'tI like myself?

I feel like this is one of those "you can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends nose" situations....

Great idea, Ryan should implement a “you ****” award, then we can track that statistic to see who ***** the best.

...guess I'll have to start proofreading everything 2x before I submit...
That will likely be one positive side-effect, training us all into not hitting that [<| Post Reply] button so fast. Or scrambling like crazy to beat the clock on the free editing time timer after we do. It's probably too much to hope for that it also helps eliminate impulsive rage posts.
...rage quitting and deleting all of their posts while doing so...
I can understand rage-quitting. But it's hard to understand the peculiar brand of psychopathy involved in sitting there, for hours and hours, rage-finding and rage-editing or rage-deleting all your own posts just to wreck a thread. That's not just, "Dude, stop tailgating me!" turning into a finger turning into a regretful get-out-of-your-car moment turning into worse. That's driving around all night for weeks like a bad driver just hoping for reactions. Sheesh!

To keep people that take themselves too seriously from rage quitting and deleting all of their posts while doing so. Long sordid history of such things…

If someone wants to quit they should be able to.

They are very much allowed to... But they aren't allowed to screw up every post they ever posted in while doing so... This is something agreed to when you register.

If you edit a post, does the forum tag it as "edited by Username at Date & Time"? Is there a short window for stealth edits, like 60 seconds where you can fix all the stuff that you messed-up before hitting the reply button?
