Ko-ken Zeal beats Snap-On Dual-80 & Matco for me.

Ratchet Lust is a very personal thing and you really have to try the top contenders

This topic is about locking flex ratchets and the Zeal line doesn't have one.

The regular 24 tooth Koken line has a couple with comfort grip. They use a button so there is no unlocked position unlike the Matco and Snap-On that have locked and unlocked positions.

I like the Snap-On and Matco locking flex ratchets. Snap-on has the better ratcheting mechanism. I'm not sure that anyone has made the perfect locking flex mechanism. There's room for improvement on all of them. It will probably be years before Koken makes them in the Zeal line.

Kokens are able to hold their flex real well w/o a locking mechanism - dunno what you're doing to change the angle...
