Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes really big funnels? I'm looking for something with like a 3-5.5" outlet hole and like a 1.5-2' top, height isn't all that important. I've looked and can't seem to find anything like it. Starting to think I might have to just make something myself or find a big traffic cone to cut up.

no idea on something THAT big but I'm curious what you are filling up that can take a 5.5" outlet hole from a funnel!

Transmission drain pan. It's about 2 feet square and maybe 5 inches outlet. Only about 6 inches deep. Think lisle makes it but not sure.

OP might check fuel funnels for race cars. I would bet you could cut the neck out to a large size. Most I have seen are d shape and a foot or so large. Pit guys pour from the big fuel containers that are about 3 inches into them.

I'm Re-loading molecular sieve into a couple of pre-purifier beds on an air separation plant. The sieve is basically pea sized beads, 12 55 gallon drums worth. The bed vessels have a 6" flange on the top, so basically I need to pour 55 gallon drums of sieve into a 6" hole some how. I have a couple of smaller super sacks with the chute on the bottom that should work decently well, but want a backup plan so I can just dump the drums right down the hole if need be.

Good suggestion, I should have mentioned it's for dry media so I need sort of a somewhat gradual taper.

Somebody like Superchute. Maybe a grain funnel. It might be pricey when you are searching for commercial sizes like that.

Here you go.

I'll have to look in to the grain funnels, I never thought of that. Anything under $300 would be just fine, hell now that I think about it, I might just go to a local fab shop and have them make something up!

Oh Man, I used to work at a hardware store when I was in college. When other college kids would come into the store with a funnel spec like that, they were up to only one thing. We had the funnel. We also had the clear hose lengths, oddly enough in stock one aisle over from the funnels.

Have a look at the US Plastic website, and do a search for "Tamco funnels" if the links I posted below don't work for some reason. They have multiple different US made 3/16" thick LLDPE plastic funnels with 4" OD spouts, a gentle taper for dry powder, grain, or liquid pouring, and between 20-7/8" and 26" diameter round top openings. They might work for you. Around $110-130 for their funnels.
