Kind of intrigued with these two choices although the warranty is not as good as the master Force from Menards.
I like the low profile feature and the high lift of 24 in.
Also the two in question here on Amazon I can break up the payments over 5 months.
Anyone have any personal experience with these?
And do you know what type of seals are used in these?
I did notice on the one Jack I can add a 4-year replacement plan for $30.
Anyone have any experience with Amazon's replacement plans?

Then there is this one from Ben pack for $315 they called me back right away and told me it was one year warranty and that I would not have to pay return shipping if I needed to ship it back within the one year warranty.

They're provided by a third party. I generally don't think they're a terribly good deal; they're insurance companies, they have good data on how long stuff will last and what claims cost them, and they charge more than that.

I've bought one thing with a replacement plan, a dehumidifier, it was replaced twice. First time, I had to send the broken dehumidifier back, they sent a replacement. (It's possible they sent the replacement first; I don't remember.) The second time they said "Replacement not available. Here's a refund.". (I bought the warranty because I was replacing a warranty that lasted about a month longer than the manufacturer's warranty, and was annoyed.)

I know it’s not on your list but have you considered the Daytona from Harbor Freight? They just released two new metallic colors and are very well. The dealership I got hired at today has them and I have them and every shop I’ve worked in has them and they can’t be beat for the money.

Think you're over thinking this a bit, buy whichever one agrees with your budget and pull the trigger. What kind of setting do you plan on using it? Professional? At home?

I still have a light weight aluminum jack from harborfreight holding strong for 12 years now. I'm sure the long reach daytona will be just fine if you have a local harborfreight.

I agree with both previous posters, just buy the Daytona from HF and be done with it, If they are good enough for SO I would think they are good enough for you.

Yes I have considered the thing is my research indicates the jack that Menards is selling right now it's a little more money but it's said to be the same Jack but with better seals.
I guess I'm a height freak I like the idea of the 24 inch lift of these three other ones.........lol BTW the Menards Jack is 3-year warranty, same as the Dakota.

Just at home.
Somebody said the arcan and the sunex appear to be identical jacks.

I splurged on a AC Hydraulics unit...I have to say I'm really happy with it. I mean at that price I better be but dropping the car is so smooooth. Probably more jack than I actually need but I was not happy with the dropping mechanism on HF jacks anymore.

Oh I would love to have the AC Jack but $600 plus is just a little too much for me right now yes I've heard they're very nice.

Literally all the franchised tire shops in my hometown use Daytona jacks. The two independent tire shops use Daytona jacks. More and more of the independent mechanics run a Daytona jack. The trend is hard to ignore.

Yeah they say that one, (Daytona) and the one at Menards, are pretty much the same.
But Hiball and confirmation of the seal kits, says the Menards Masterforce has the more desirable U cup seal in the main ram.
The master Force carries a 3-year warranty as well.
$240.29 after $29.70 mail in rebate.

I bought the dk13hlq but I had specific needs. The long, low reach was not just a "maybe I need it" feature...I do/did need it for one of my cars. The super high max lift height is also great for my minivan. If you don't have that specific need immediately, go for the DK20 and work around any low, long applications you may come across.

I'm not a pro, just an advanced hobbyist, so $600+ for a jack was REALLY hard to justify to myself. Like I said the thing that pushed me over was the dropping mechanism. With the HF and like units sometimes it drops smoothly, other times it just drops. Really hard to control. As well, my son is starting to develop an interest in cars now and I didn't want him to be stressing over the jack. Also didn't want him (or me) dropping a car onto jacks when the jacks aren't aligned correctly and putting a jack through the body or worse.

That was my justification for spending double what I initially planned. If the HF and like units are what you can justify then it is what it is. The DK20 isn't that much more expensive though. I don't know if the featureset/craftsmanship between the Menards and Daytona are different enough to agonize over but I understand. It took me two-three years (?) of agonizing, looking at what features I absolutely needed, how jacks differed etc and getting fed up with my jacks to justify the jump to the AC Hydraulics. <-- that gave me time to "save" up money and goodwill from the wife to cover the AC unit though. :ROFLMAO:

I’d see what kind of coupon deal you can use and see what the 2 year extended warranty they offer would cost out the door. I bet they’re close in price. I need to go check out the Menards jacks. I’ve never messed with their products, but they sound promising.

Another vote for Daytona. Had one for a few years now, no complaints. It's a jack, it's really only built to do one thing. Not much difference between the brands.

Thank you I completely understand.
I think I am a bit of a fuss budget to be honest......
No you are correct the DK20-Q IS NOT REALLY ALL THAT MUCH MORE.
(Especially in the big scheme of things theory, and the buy one's cry once theory)

LOL 🤣

You don't know how close I came to just saying,
The H E double hockey sticks with it, and just sucking it up this month,
and pulling the trigger on the AC

AC Hydraulics DK13HLQ Long Reach Hydraulic Jack, Blue, 1.3 Ton!!!

Or I was close to pulling the trigger on the DK 20......

but like most of us I am trying to watch my money a little bit, and need to put some money away to help pay for a truck to empty the storage area into the garage where I am now just trying to watch $$ a little.
Thank you so much everyone for your insight and comments and personal experience.
I'm going to decide on something soon here and will let you all know.
Let me put this out there if I may, my car needs a little work I'm not really in the mood for a 1 and 1/2 hour each way road trip but what do you all think of this Jack on Craigslist for $200.00?
Like I said I am a "height freak", and this bad boy goes up to about 28 in. !!

Yeah well I don't want to pay $200 and have junk either.
$200 is a lot of money to me.
I don't mind spending the money but I would just like something that's going to last.
My HF jack (pre-daytona I think...pittsburgh maybe?) is >10yrs old and leak free. Only issue I had was the u-joint on the handle needing to be replaced due to abuse.

Well I came real close to getting the arcan for about _$184.00 ,
started comparing it to the master Force and it really wasn't a whole heck of a lot of difference maybe an inch of height a little taller minimum height on the master Force.
So I decided to pull the trigger on the master Force, and we'll see what happens pick it up tomorrow.
Thanks to all.

I figure we only live once on this Earth I might as well get the one I wanted.
I had not picked it up yet from Menards,
And they told me I could just cancel it without penalty and they would credit my credit card back I went ahead and ordered the
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074QSCV5Q/?tag=atomicindus08-20
It should be here July 7th.
I got it for $462.92 through Amazon warehouse,
But I made sure I can still return it if there was anything wrong and I made sure that I still had the same warranty from the distributor or the company the manufacturer they answered me on Amazon

LMAO 🤣
I think I did the right thing.

Only $206.60 difference.....
more on my card,
(At full price before rebate total on my card at Menards)
Only two which is good cuz somebody had bought one when I went to pay for it there was only one left and then that's the one I got.
But I knew they wouldn't last.

Now look! Need doesn't have nothing to do with it!
......... 😂
On a serious note I was reading the manual online a little bit said something about having to get it inspected every year I don't need no kind of certification for the warranty or anything do I as long as I maintain it myself? Here's what it said.
Safety Inspection
According to national legislation - minimum once a
year though - the jack must be inspected by a profes-
sional: damages, wear and tear, adjustment of the
safety valve, hydraulic unit for leakages. Furthermore
that all safety labels are legible.

I believe that to be a european or Danish thing. No such legislation here in the states...at least I don't think so

Did amazon prime shipping cover shipping that bad boy? You might have paid for your year membership with just that purchase
Yes, they covered it.
I stream a lot too off prime.
It said last week that it was shipped by like an independent shipper and if they had to call you and make arrangements as to when and where I would meet them to deliver with signature. But I don't see it on there now. I have to wait till they ship it I guess and see what they say or call them tomorrow I've had enough talking to them today but because I want them to put it down at my garage I'm not up on the porch if it's ups. I sort of hope it's not UPS or FedEx
I forgot to leave special instructions.
