It's a chew toy. I wonder if they would warranty that? Do you have a dealer or do you buy elsewhere?

My SO driver warrantied my ratcheting screwdriver when our dog mistook it for her rawhide bone. I mentioned that to my driver and he said go pick one, no charge. He's my SO dealer for life.

With a face like that how can you get mad at him. My golden likes to help me when I’m working by taking my tools and hiding them.

A new one is only $12. It’s my fault for letting “Archie” get it.
She's a real cutie. It sounds like you have the makings of a great advertisement.

Expensive chew toy. More expensive is the vet bill to clear out the plastic in the pup's gut. Hopefully all will "pass" without issue.

Snap on should make dog friendly screwdrivers, you know easy to digest. It could become a marketing advantage.

besides post 30 I have another caution...

I don't like my dogs to chew on plastic since the chemicals in them that make them... ah... plastic (plasticizers) are a good bet for cancer or other abnormalities.

I give the dog good ol' fashioned wood (can be a vintage unpainted screwdriver if ya want) or rubber chew toys. He loses interest unless they are new (just like a kid), so I put one away for a while until he forgets about it, then it's "new" again.

And yes, your truck guy wants you to be happy - he sells service - so he'll put it in his vise knock off the handle and put a new one on. Or you can do it yourself.
