Two boxes from SK Steals and Deals today:

YEsfB0.jpg
These had good reviews, and at $6 or so per seemed like a decent deal.

I assumed the second box had the 1/4" flex head and the gloves, but...

SK really needs to talk to their shipping dept. This is also how I routinely get my "socket of the month" too...

Picked up this Blue Point seal puller off the truck today to replace the piece of junk adjustable K-D that I threw across the yard and into the trash can the other day.

I have a 25 year old Craftsman one that looks just like it. It works when it will fit, but that's almost never for me. I guess this was designed for 1970 rotors? For me, there's either a protruding shaft, or the handle is at the wrong angle - so I've only used it a few times.

…Anyway... I have to be honest, my Snap On 14.4v 3/8" long neck ratchet is ******* heavy. The 1/4" long neck is so much easier and lighter to use. I may even buy the regular non-long neck 3/8" just because of the weight..
Couldn’t agree more with every point in your post. To this point specifically, I love my 1/4” Snap-on long neck, and I was going to wait for the long neck brushless 3/8” to come out before upgrading my CTR761, but decided against it for the exact reason you posted above. I told my Snap-on guy last month to let me know when the regular green brushless 3/8” is out and on its way to me.

The GW indexable pry bars are the best seal pullers I've found for this reason

I grabbed one of the 3/8" Husky 144T ratchets yesterday at local pawn for $5

Not sure how these are holding up but I like the fine tooth count and low backdrag

I purchased all this stuff for my job, luckily I'm reimbursed for all purchases or I would never buy new SAE tools for myself. Yes everything has orange paint on it, orange marked tools belong in the orange tool cart. I wanted the Harbor Freight 5 drawer tool cart but could not locate a orange one within driving distance.
I have a laser engraver available to me at work and the new wrenches will be marked Tue morning when I return.

Yeah, I have one of those too and then found the Lisle limited access version and like it much better. It’s the same head with a 3/8 drive on it to use with a breaker or ratchet. Lisle PN 56920

I have a couple of those! I also have just the "head" of that type seal puller that has a 3/8 square hole in it for a ratchet. Not sure what brand it is. If the easy method doesn't work for me, I typically use a slide hammer, or punch holes and then add sheet metal screws and then pry on those- or use a slide hammer on them one by one.

Stopped by Menards today. Grabbed a pair of shears, (fake looking EMT style), a pair of Irwin Vise-Grips, pr of their 9" needle nose Vise-Grips and snagged a Masterforce 5/8 wrench out of the clearance section for $5, made in the USA, pretty sure by Allen.

Made the mistake of handling some display M12 stuff last week. Can't wait to pick up some of the other M12 stuff. 1/2" stubby, 3/8" ratchet, hood light, etc.

Also recently got some Channellock picks, an HF 1/4" roto, and an Astro clip set (the two longer pieces aren't pictured).

PB Swiss, Wera, Wiha, Vessel, AND Bondhus!!! Which are your favorite? Also what brand are the twisted ones?

I won't start using these until Tue when I go back to work so no favorite to report just yet. A coworker has the same Wiha set and it's 100 times better then the Rock River (Fastenal house brand) that my employer provides.
The red twisted models are Mayhew (made in Taiwan) and are Metric.

Yep. Forgot to say it was used but still a good deal. I asked him if he would let me take over payments on it since he only owes about $1000 and he said nope I want it out of this shop.
Intercept the Snappy dealer after the paperwork is done and before it's loaded on his truck to make your deal.
