So clearing out my stuff I have 2 older Craftsman tools and a couple of compound miter saws. I want to sell the stuff to make some room (which I need desperately) and make a couple of bucks.

I've done some searching and the Dewalt is the only thing I can find pricing on but it's anywhere from $100-200... Anyone have any idea what I can ask for the other stuff? I have little invested in these and I'm not trying to make a ton. In fact if anyone on here is interested in these I'll let them go at a great price knowing they would go to a good home.

sadly, shipping may be more than you think. I had those same items but during the latest move/downsize I gave them to a young neighbor and his wife to seed their home projects.

In those days the tools were used, used up, repaired and used again. Not much collector value, some a fair amount of "memories".

I would think $15-25 each would be the going rate.

I haven't done anything with them other than put them on the table to take these pictures. The older ones look to be in really nice shape for their age. The other two will take some cleaning up... I used the DeWalt a bunch last summer and it cut really well.

I have the 1/2 drill, It’s a beast. I got it from my grandfather and used it to drill through railroad ties. Didn’t struggle at all. Great drill.

I got that same Craftsman miter saw for free a few years ago. Then one of those drills for $3 at a pawn shop. So I would have to say give them to a friend, relative or kid down the street because actual cash value will be minimal.

A new DWS715 sells for $250. That is thier replacement for the DW705. On sale regularly enough for $200-$230. So, I expect asking $200 would be a stretch.

Clean it up. Ask $100 for it...you might get it.

You might get a little bit for the DeWalt chop saw. Maybe $50.
Craftsman name not worth anything used. And ancient corded tools you couldn't even give them away.
I have a bunch of not so old corded tools, B&D saws, Milwaukee hole shooters, etc. All good stuff. Tried selling them a couple years ago, $15, $25 each range. What a joke, zero interest.

Around here at garage sales, any corded tool can't hardly be given away. I see corded drills and saws for a couple bucks, and nobody buys them.

Sound like you have a plan. I expect that $100 is top of the market for that saw but who knows.

I think highly of Dewalt miter saws. I have 2. A 12" slider dws782 and a 7-1/4" battery powered slider DCS361.

A note on spending the time to clean. Several years ago I picked up a 716 for $100. It was dirty, stained with blackened pitch and just generally grimed up. I cleaned it up sold it for $200 a couple days later. Bought the 782 for $300 a couple days late. It was on a stand. Sold the stand for $110. So, after those couple transactions I own the 12" slider for $90. I expect it was worth the effort to clean the 716 up prior to selling.

I had a DW705 and liked its accuracy and consistency. Nice saw for woodworking. I sold it to a friend for $120 many years ago.
