Went in Lowes and the lights are still 27.Had the manager scan and the cost shows 25. He would have matched a local store. Those are on a side stack at my store. YMMV

In the garden center (and this is something I "discovered" tonight, but is probably something pretty standard), there was a good assortment of some pretty pathetic-looking (unloved) plants at 50% off.

Granted, I've seen MUCH better looking rose plants at 50% off, but I took a chance on a couple of Knockout roses (different colors than what we have currently), we'll see what happens.

I've had GREAT luck with Knockout roses, and am unsure (and maybe unhappy) about the fact that they are now carrying a different brand.

Defiantly worth the chance. They are just about indestructible once planted.

I have killed almost everything I've planted. Correction, they're great for a few years after I plant them, then the neglect (caused by ignorance of how to actually keep them alive) catches up to them/me.

Except for Knockout roses and daylillies. And one giant Rhododendron. Those things all seem to do better the less I go near them. My kind of plants!!!

I believe that I have at least one survivor of everything I've bought over the years (several types of azaleas and PJM Rhododendrons). There's also some hostas and irises from the PO (over 15 years ago) that keep re-appearing each spring, in places you'd never think ANYTHING can grow!

I'm going to try propagating the bushes through cuttings. No idea how/when to do that, of course...

I just got a couple last night as well, price is now $3.04 and my local store that rarely has good clearance deals. Clearance price on the shelf still said $15.96, which is probably why 8 units have been sitting there for more than a week.

I was about to grab a bunch of these, but noticed the housing is not metal and cannot easily daisy-chain to other units. Thought I'd share anyway, because someone might have a good use for them.

YMMV in-store clearance. BS link

Lithonia Lighting 4-ft LED Linear Shop Light $6.17 (reg. $24.98)

this model has the metal housing, and is also on clearance for a very similar price https://brickseek.com/lowes-inventory-checker/?sku=1000410793

does not look to be easily daisy chained either though.

IN STORE ONLY

Mechanix Wear Mens FastFit High-Viz (Black/Neon Green) $4.97/pair item #1304163
FastFit Multipurpose Synthetic Leather Gloves (Grey) $4.97/pair item #2503607

My local store only had sizes large and extra-large available, but they had several cases of both sizes & both colors. They were stacked 3 boxes high on the corner of the clearance aisle end cap. They did not have a price displayed anywhere for these. Anyway, it’s worth checking if you’re going to be in lowes for something else. I realize these are not a high quality glove, but they’re absolutely worth 5 bucks.

I do not know if this is a regional clearance sale, or if lowes is getting rid of these nation wide. I only scanned the tags on size large & extra large in both colors and they all rang up at $4.97. The location in the store that previously displayed these gloves now has a different brand of gloves on the hooks, it’s a brand that I’d never heard of.

I apologize if this information has been previously posted in this thread or any other thread.

I see that DAP Extreme Stretch White Caulk is available online for 75% off ($1.59/tube).

It appears to me that this is supposed to compete with Big Stretch Caulk, which is my choice for interior caulking.

The reviews for the DAP product are not very good, so I'm going to stick with using Big Stretch at $7/tube.

budget76, Brick N.J. had four listed but could not find any. even the hardware looked also , no luck. But he did say Hillsborough N.J. had two. Took a ride and got one because my Craftsman is worn out. So they still have one left but $267.00..hope that helps someone in that area...

darn, sorry if that post sent you on a failed hunt. I've had decent luck when the qty is >1 on BS. they must be hidden in the back somewhere or something, pretty big items to have just walked out of the store

$267 probably still a good deal for portability purposes if nothing else
