I recently purchased a Stihl BR600 backpack blower and I would like to have something to store it on to get it off the floor. I’ve seen racks online, but they are expensive. I’d kind of like to make a wall rack myself. I have a Hobart Handler 140 and I’ve been practicing a little, but have a long way to go to be a half way decent welder. Anyone out there have some pics of ones they have made? I’m just trying to get some ideas.

Some 3/4” plywood leftovers, trimmed the edge with 1x2 pine. Painted to match the trim.

If I was going to do this in steel, probably some 1/2” angle to make a shelf, floor with some expanded steel. Couple brackets to hold it to the wall. That’d hold up the engine part. Add a couple of J hooks for the blower hose.

Why not one or two bicycle hooks(or similar) to hold it up by the shoulder straps. Done in a few minutes.

That's all mine is. Cost me like $5 in hooks to get all the equipment hung up.

That’s a possibility. But, I’d prefer a shelf type bracket. This thing is not real light, so I’m concerned that over time the plastic handle will break or the padded shoulder straps will become stretched or damaged.

Cool idea. I’d definitely want to have something to hold the hose vertical to save horizontal wall space.
