I'm looking for a set of standard and deep 3/8 drive six point sockets that have a satin finish. 3/8-7/8 minimum.

Any suggestions?

All of the German brands seem to be twelve point.. OEM tools is the only thing I've found so far.

OEMTools. Nice sockets

Take a look at the Ko-ken catalog, they're half-satin though.

Genius tools are half-satin too. The ones I've seen had pretty poor fit/finish (but that was many years ago).

I almost forgot about Toptul, they have satin 6 point. Wrenhandtools.com is a U.S. source.

No real reason. I picked up a set of Toptul metric sockets that are satin, but Toptul's SAE sockets are polished and the sizes are kind of odd and incomplete.

Wiha looks to be a match, but they only offer 12 point.

Yes, PN 22962 is 1/4 through 7/8. Satin, and they have vertical knurling. You should buy them.

There's Teng. Gedore has a half satin / half "sheen" (not full polish) look; not sure about 6-point. Look up Wera and Stahlville for availability of 6-point.

My combination wrenches are satin for SAE and chrome for metric.
Meh.
They still turn bolts and I can tell which are which from 10 feet away.
Wouldn't mind it if the sockets were the same way.

Toptul is definitely weird like that, I thought all there sockets were offered in satin. Live/learn.

TOPTUL is funny in that they feel that all Americans prefer full polish. Most of their SAE stuff is full polish. I asked about this when I sold them and that's what they told me. Apparently, since Snap-On are full polish that's what TOPTUL believes Americans want. I much prefer the satin chrome finish on everything. But then again my parents were German so maybe I'm been infected with the satin preference by them.

Not just TOPTUL. Look at all the Taiwanese and Chinese brands that are marketing for the American market. Full polish.

Snap-On, Mac - full polish.

In comparison look at the European and Japanese manufacturers and satin finishes are much more common. It really is a weird American thing.

Check out Gedore's #30 sockets. Search for "Gedore 30 1/2AF" or "Gedore 30 13" should bring up 3/8"-drive, 1/2" and 13mm six point sockets, for example. Also, I really like the look of Wera's sockets. The are made in Taiwan, in case that matters to you. Though, in my experience, the fit and finish has been excellent.

Teng tools I think they are the best quality fairest priced satin sockets out there you can get a 3/8 rail for 40-50 bucks they have amazing set building inserts that go into their tool boxes also ... they are on amazon and have their own website they are the only tool company I know of were you can buy a whole tool box with inserts besides sonic..
