Anybody Recognize This Vintage Work Bench?

I ran across this work bench recently, and was wondering if anybody here recognizes it and could tell me who manufactured it? The drawer pulls are smooth and the cabinet is solid and well constructed. It looks to me like something that would have been in an automotive shop decades ago. Any ideas?

To me it looks like those steel cabinets that were made for kitchens. Yours looks like a sink base cabinet. I know Sears used to make steel kitchen cabinets.

It looks just like the sink that was in my Grandma's kitchen. I bet that's what you'd find under that top.

For true, it's part of an all-steel kitchen setup; they were modular with a full rank of upper and lower cabinets. The tank factories which were idled after WWII needed to switch over to consumer products. The like of appliances, cabinets, desks and chairs made in those factories will last forever.

Look for Homart branded stuff from the post war Sears world of brands

I had an apartment years ago with upper cabinets much like these. Very sturdy & easy to clean. I think they had adjustable shelves too.
