Background: I am an occasional (not sophisticated) DIY person and tackle small/medium projects. Recently, traveled to NC with my wife and had my little travel tool set stolen: It contained the Milwaukee M12 4-in-1 Fuel Drill/Driver Set along with my handy limited bit set. This isn't the heavy duty stuff but works for probably at least 75% of my projects.
I am looking for an impact drill bit set that contains: Drill Bits, Flat Head, Phillips, Torx pieces. Relatively small portable size. Something under 80 pieces roughly +/-.
My quick search showed a few options but each seem to be flawed.
Bosch DDMS40 - No Flat Head bits.
Makita T-01725 - Not a bad option. Reviews complain about poor quality.
Comoware - No Standard Bit Holder/Extension. Unknown Brand.
What do you suggest for having universal applications, compact size, quality bits?
To be honest, I don't care whether it is $15 or 40. I need to buy it but would rather do it right the first time.
Thanks in advance for your help.
