Hey everyone, new guy from Southern IL

Hey guys my name is Tyler, im 22 and im just now starting to build my own tool set. This site is amazing and ive learned a ton in just the short amount of time ive been here. I just bought my first toolbox, a brand new Craftsman set, 8 drawer chest, 3 drawer intermediate box, and a 5 drawer rolling box for $145 at a local auction. I usually just use my dad's tools in the shop but im slowly building my own tool collection. I can see how this hobby can easily become addicting lol. I love finding tools at auctions, swap meets, etc and thats where I have the most fun. Thanks once again for such a great site. I look forward to getting to know my around the tool world. I also look forward to buying and maybe even selling (if I find anything worthwhile) with you guys as well.

Great that you have your priorities straight on your addiction - tools, trucks, girlfriend and College. Keep the College front and center as it will take you where you want to go. The search for the tools is almost as fun as using them. Auctions and swap meets have endless opportunities. The toolboxes you scored should last you a little while before getting full. That '66 F100 looks great. You are really putting a lot of work into it. Congrats on such a sweet catch.

There is a great section here for tools that I'm sure you've been going through.

Ive been slacking off lately on the truck but im hoping to hit it hard again in a few weeks. Ive learned alot while working on the truck and its something I love to do. Keeps me busy lol. Thanks for compliment.
