Saturday is putz day in the garage as all my major projects are done for now.
First thing was an attempt to repair my favorite folding chair that I broke while in Somerset, Summer Nights last weekend.
I made a 18 gauge plate and screwed and drilled and came up with this "jury rig".
Taped the part for paint...the plastic cracked as I was leaning on it and not sitting proper....
Here is a better look of the fix.....I repainted it after I cut the excess bolt.....

Chair should be good for another season....
Next up was a empty metal canister once filled with cookie sticks....
These make great canisters for screws that come in cardboard boxes. So I scuffed the outside and painted the can so I can use magic marker on it to define what kind of screws are inside.
So I had some issues with my car matts and determined they are totally shot. The back is just gone after 11+ years.
So I am going to cut out the tribar pony logo and reuse them in the future as LLoyd Matts doesn't make these exact type anymore.
I am going to use my Car show matts for everyday use and confiscate my wife's Car Show matts for my NEW matts as she never used then at all. I ALWAYS install fresh matts at car shows so they look clean and new, because they are! Never used. Makes for a clean look when competing for judged trophies at car shows.
Much better....
I decided to take a look at my winter matts and found the driver side had holes in them too...WTH?!?! Just years of wear and tear so I grabbed some Black silcone and filled the holes from the back side after taping off the front money side....letting them dry good before I peel off the tape....
