Bumping wanted ads

I understand disallowing replies to wanted ads and wanting people to use PM, but based on this it seems there is no way to periodically "bump" an ad so it goes back onto the first page?

Sure, people can find wanted ads via searching but (I was previously a classifieds moderator on a large forum and my experience was that) most people just periodically skim the first page or two.

Is there any way to relax the restriction so the thread creator can reply? With some limit such as you can only bump every 7 days?

I think this would be a good idea. I know the selling posts can be bumped so I feel it would be good to be able to bump for anything you may still be looking for. I’ve got a few wanted ads and still a couple things I’m looking for and I don’t think any of them are still on the first page.

You can reply to your own ad. You just have to wait three days before you do so. It’s working over here… is something broke I don’t know about?

This is what it tells me. The only thing in the menu with the three dots is edit which I don’t think bumps it. I guess it works on mobile too right? I primarily use mobile for the site.

Yes. Should work on mobile. I might have something messed up. If so, I will fix it by morning.

OK guys... Been messing with this all morning and having issues reproducing the problem. For example, this guy is obviously able to reply:

Doesn't work for me on Windows 10/Chrome and Android 10/Firefox.

That is a for sale posting. We are talking about WANTED ads. You disabled replies to wanted ads. But that means there is no way for OP to bump the listing back onto front page. Re-read first post on this thread.
