Are Dyson fans worth it?

So thinking about getting a Dyson fan for the bedroom. They have the TP01 on sale for $299. Seems a bit pricy but I really want something that move a bit of air and is quiet (I don't like all the white noise). I don't need the humidifier stuff and really don't care about HEPA filtering. I have a Dyson vacuum that is great.

Or if you have a very quiet bedroom fan recommendation.

I have a similar Dyson air purifier fan. The oscillation range and fan speed are adjustable. It also has a readout on how polluted your air is. Living with wildfire smoke each year like we do makes the filtering feature very important but if you don’t need or want to clean your indoor air, I wouldn’t pay $300 for a fan.
If you ever have small children in your house, the lack of exposed fan blades is a nice safety feature.0C1C1129-1C8A-4A92-B0D0-28AE86FFDA9E.jpeg

Bought / returned....

Get yourself a Vornado or the like. These work and circulate air, etc....
The Dyson, felt zero -fanning- , at even at max fan, it moves so little hear and the noise is just as much as a regular fan IMO

Thanks for the replies. The big thing here is quiet and can move a 'bit' of air. I don't need it blowing things around the room, just give a slight breeze and VERY quiet. Currently I do not have a ceiling fan or an easy way to put one in otherwise I probably would just upgrade to that.

I work on big boats and have seen some of these fans on customers boats. They work as a fan but don't move a ton of air. They are quiet and no worry about getting hit with a blade. I would probably get one for the house if I could afford it but I'm more of a box fan guy, I like lots of air movement.

They are quiet cause they don't -move- air.
I suggest if you have one locally you can see at a home goods store like BedBathBeyond, etc....
Looks sleek......that's what drew me to it

But aside from that, it does nothing other than looking pretty...

They are effective air purifiers for single room applications. You run them continuously. Some models have a carbon filter and a HEPA filter to reduce or eliminate odors as well as minute particles of dust or even smoke.

Thanks for the replies. Just what I needed to hear...doesn't move a much air.

I'll look at some of the other options.

Thanks!
