Herbrand.
Thanks.
That let me find out it's called speedratchet.
Did other companies make similar?
Is tee handle ratchet herbrands name, or just the type?

Now I know they exist, I want one!

^ yes, they were made by Craftsman .... not sure if somebody else made them. The Craftsman units sell for stupid money. The Herbrands in cherry condition can fetch admirable prices.

Yes due to the plastic portions sometimes being in poor condition they sometimes are to be had for less than 100$

Plomb also made them.
?! When? And what was the model number? Do you have a photo? They made a version of their ratchet with a crank handle for various industries, but not in that Herbrand configuration, with a spinner with a rotating grip attached and the ratcheting mechanism in the middle of the shank, like a ratcheting tee handle. Not as far as I know, anyway. I could be wrong.

Herbrand also made a ratchet speeder. Literally a speed wrench, shaped just like a speeder, with a swing arm just like a speeder, but an offset ratchet head on the end. I'd love to find one in the wild.

My Herbrand. I especially like the feature that allows the ratchet to be locked. It is an extremely handy wrench. The middle position is locked, and has a detent ball.

I could be misremembering the Plomb, but feel strongly that I have seen one.

Twertsy: not sure why you’re selling all your cool old tools but I wish you the best doing so and hope your health is good.

I might have to do the same thing in a few years after I build my small shop cause I’m tired of paying to store cool stuff I don’t use.

take care!!
