The foam is original. The 3/8 pear head set also has it.

Going to piggyback again, Don, because we really don't have a single good general Walden-Worcester thread going (which is bizarre!).
This cadmium flex extension (7264) and universal joint (7276) are both 9/32-inch drive, and they both have a martial "U.S." mark. They were two of several 9/32-inch drive tools I spotted in a Simonsen Type II military cantilevered box this morning.
Thanks for the reference. I did pick them up. I checked for some other drive tools but no luck. I did pick them up. Couldn't pass on them for $15!
I have the sockets and the sliding tee bar head but no bar for it.So you have sockets and what appears to be the little drive adapter?
I've never seen any of those other than on those catalog pages and brochures.
Thanks. It's an OTC. I did have a proto one as well. Are they for Chrysler's if I remember correctly?Nice grab. Is that a Bonney ball joint socket up in the corner?

Looking for a Round Beam Plomb 1068 Double Box End Wrench
Hmmm. Sorry for my delayed reaction to your post (#50, page 3, 2-21-2020), bonneyman, which was an even longer delayed reaction to my post (#20, page 1, 8-2-2019)... (a two-year long discussion in 3 posts! HAHA!) ..., but now that you mention it, I didn't either, and I didn't really think about it being significant or unique until now! But you're right. I can't think of another 9/32-drive uni joint.Interesting! I didn't know anybody made universals in 9/32".![]()
Thanks! I'll have a rip at flipping it and hoping it still works as good as it does now!yes.
assembled backwards.

Maybe it was military use and they wore out the typical corner tangs?damn! that took some determination (or a lot of drill bits) to get through that thing!![]()
found similar set with all metal spinner . looks the same but appears to be much newer or just unused also has square drive sockets 2ea 8 point square drive 3/8 and 5/16 3 ea 4 point square drive 1/4 7/32 3/16 the all metal spinner #3138 . can't find this set in any catalog either . blue box embossed stevens walden with SW logo embossed in oval . not sure what year it is but the entire set looks new . ratchet 3150 with oil hole on top . would appreciate any info on the set .I picked this set up off of eBay because I had never seen that style of all metal spinner in Walden before. I did a quick check of the available Walden catalogs and couldn’t find any info on the spinner. The handle pulls up and freewheels or snaps down and works like a normal spinner. It has a female drive end so it can be used as an extension. The set also came with three sockets for use with square nuts, which I’ve also never seen in Walden before.
