Scored this cabinet for 200 bucks locally, surprisingly I already had most of the parts for it but needed to fill in the blanks. Asked Snap On man if they sold the little plastic clips because one broke....he is getting me a whole new freaking board (no tools, just the board that goes in the case)!20211115_200534.jpg

Damn you scored. I have that same set up without the cabinet and my board has seen better days.

That is very cool. This Snap On cabinet and puller set goes for nearly $3,000 new. Great tools, but as a hobbyist could never justify such a purchase. I've been piecing together my set from online auctions, and estate sales. I probably have less that $600.00 invested in my set which is almost complete now. The deals are out there if one is patient.

All told I'll have prob close to 1k invested for a complete kit. That includes the 600ish for the new parts I did not feel like scouring for over the next year or so!
Totally worth it for the quality and customer service! I've found that when you need a puller, nothing else works and this gives a TON of options. Don't have to worry about breaking either.

If anyone is looking for parts from this set, I have some odds and ends left over from other lot purchases....eventually I'll make a classified post, but feel free to shoot a PM if anyone needs a specific item.

When I was selling tools, a customer sold me a complete set with the cabinet for$300. I already had a cleaner cabinet, so I transferred the tools to it. I sold the older cabinet and a few spares for $150. About 5 years ago I realized that I had only used the set 1 time. I put it on eBay and sold it for $1500.

Sell the old one and recoup a few bucks. I'd be interested if you are willing to ship.

Can't, had to turn it in to the Snap On man! It pains me to think it will probably wind up in a dumspter.....but hopefully a warehouse worker gives it new life!
