I have been neglecting to add my recent tools to this thread but here is what I picked up today.

Porter Cable 5" orbiting sander to work on a Christmas project I'm making for my wife.

Matco BFR158LFG 3/8" 15" long flex ratchet. The handle is beat up and it needs a kit, but I was specifically going to ask the Snap-On driver for a beat-up ratchet today and he was using this as his "Tote and Promote." After arduous negotiations I got it for 50 bucks. The plans are to strip the handle off of it and Cerakote the entire ratchet and put a new handle on it. I'm thinking a possible stars and stripes or maybe just one bold color. Maybe KTM Orange, who knows. I was looking for a project and, in a few weeks, or so I'll probably put it up for $250 or so.

Yeah mine disappear quickly, always end up getting stuck to a car or lift haha so I buy them in bulk,
Haha. I want an orange and green one I wish my dealer would stock those but I can’t complain about the red because they are handy. I was the first person to ask for one when he got a new bucket of them in and now everyone hits him up every week hey I need a new one. Fortunately haven’t lost one yet. Broken quite a few but haven’t lost one.

Appearently our snap on guy was giving out pocket prybars a couple of weeks ago, of course it was the day he showed up after I left haha, I did finally get my black handle pry bars last week, and a new box haha, since he so conviently pointed out that my new bars would not fit in my usg 5 drawer haha, he knew I’ve been on the fence about a new cart for awhile, and was planning on getting the usg full bank, but he made me a great offer on a used but still looking new krsc326 cart, and I love that thing haha

You just gave me something else to try and get free lol. I always forget about pocket pry bars because my pocket screwdrivers are my pocket pry bars. Great to hear on the box. My Snap-on dealer has never made a comment on my boxes 🤣. Never tried to sell me one either.

Also shamefully pulled these out of the closet where they've been sitting since Epstein Day. Wife stuck the box in the corner and I forgot about it. I don't know if I ever got a picture of these in here or maybe the Epstein thread.

I have a small Canada Air compressor that travels short distances when I need air around the house. It's a simple setup... always wanted to hook a small blower nozzle somehow... thanks to GJ and a prior posting... I found out they make key chain virgins (versions keeps getting autocorrected to virgin, so I'm leaving it) I got the one made by/branded by Astro P

Also got some vinyl in the green **** variety.

This just arrived this morning, dropped off by FedEx! (y)

A quick gift to myself. (y)

Probably really not considered a tool but still none the less a new power surge protector to be used out in our covered patio.

I needed one with a long power cord connector, 25ft.,(y) to replace the current one that I have out there already. The current one works great though the power cord connector that it has is only 15ft.

Plus the fact that this new one also has two USB charging ports as well, since the current one that is out there already does not have any USB charging ports! (y)

So I was bored & decided to go to HD to get the nano sockets even though it's pouring rain like crazy (not normal here in SoCal). My preferred HD showed only 1 in stock. Luckily they did actually have one.

But..... I found another one hanging behind the imperial ones that had damaged packaging, nothing wrong with the contents. I kindly asked the cashier if they could discount it for opened packaging (wasn't actually fully opened). She said she could give me 10% off which was only $3. Then I kindly asked if she could do any better, she called her supervisor over & she said to mark it down $10. Woohoo!

So I got it for $19.97, I thanked both ladies very much & wished them a Merry Christmas. They both smiled, so it seemed, we were all wearing masks of course, and they put a smile on my face too. Just goes to show that it doesn't hurt to ask nicely.

I would have been more than happy paying the $30 for them which is a good deal already. Made in Taiwan too which I did not expect. They really are nano size (well Astro calls em nano), much smaller in person than I had thought looking at pics.

Thanks for another "helping me spend my money" javy!

Grabbed a small sampling of Capri Tools to try. I need a long 0* offset box wrench for rear sprocket bolts on my motorcycles to give my knuckles a little breathing room and the Capri look good, are not made in China (Taiwan), and are a decent price. The blow gun and rubber tips are clear passages on carburetors. And a 12mm/14mm combination 75* offset box wrench is handy around dirt bikes.

Flush cut cutters and stripper/crimper set I picked up this week, on offer for about $50. They seem a nice design, but I hope the free up a bit, seem very stiff compared to my knipex cutters.

That’s a GREAT price. My 786CFs took a bit of working in before they loosened up - they were pretty tight right off the truck.

I completely missed this post earlier - those Blue Point pliers have been on my list for a while, but I keep forgetting to mention them to my Snap-on rep. How do you like them so far?
Have not had a chance to use yet, but heard great things about them. I actually ordered them a couple months ago but they were on back order.

Got an Ernst rail today for the nano sockets that I picked up yesterday. Gotta love Amazon one day shipping. Bought the same size as my other Ernst rails that way it can clip into the tray if I ever want plus it came with the exact amount of clips. For now it'll just live between my two Ernst trays that are filled with cheap Craftsman impact sockets.

Thought it was funny that Hillman sells reading glasses. Not really a tool but it is for me. Hate that I even have to use aids like this now (I've had to buy a few Optivisors a couple of years ago too). Got these at Lowes. Yeah they are more expensive than the ones at dollar stores but I at least they look way better on me. All I ever find at dollar stores are too lady like. I'll keep one in the garage & the other in a tool bag.
