My secret Santa was from Texas and did a great job in figuring out what I could use/need. I am not a very contributing member of garage journal so he had his work cut out for him but once again as I said before he was great. On a sidenote I’d like to add that I don’t post in a hint thing because I want people to get from their heart and to do what they want not just get me what I want hell I don’t even know what I want half the times which is nice because everything I get is unexpected and is really awesome sometimes you just have to take the time to dig into somebody’s background to see what they’ve done and done and received in the past secret Santa‘s and go from there. This may be a little bit ronana because I’m talking into voice to text so if there’s periods missing and stuff like that you guys are gonna have to deal with it or let the Internet police come get me later.

anyways my secret Santa the box is at home I’m at work for 48 hours at the fire house I can’t really remember your name it’s up here from Texas near the Louisiana border you gave me these awesome sweet potatoes which my wife thought was the most epic gift of all we love sweet potatoes and she was like how does he know that you like sweet potatoes and I can’t wait to cook these up all the other stuff the seasonings that everything will go great in the newly renovated kitchen that we have. My son is already staking out some of the jerky and she said he says everything but a half pistachios are his and the set of tools is so weird because literally that night before I opened the gift I had a dream about having to plug tires so I don’t know it must’ve been feet that you giving me this awesome tire plug kit.
To anyone out there who is considering joining into the secret Santa club of garage journal just know this whether you get something whether you get grinch it’s the spirit of giving that’s the most important part and helping a fellow garage journal person not what you get that’s important.

Everyone who participated have a great Christmas have a great new year please stay safe and keep posting
Patrick, glad you enjoy your gift. I enjoyed trying to find things you could use. I didn't realize you were a sweet potato enthusiast, but I had some extras and most people don't turn them down. You should try to grow them one day. They are a pretty low maintenance crop.

Merry Christmas & stay safe working!

Still waiting to open mine. Being grandpa and great grandpa means we move down the priority list and will do gift exchange tonight. I'm excited. I know what's in every box under my tree except 1.

I've been a little lacking in the post Dept for the year, so my secret Santa really had his job cut out for him.

Overall he did well, and obviously read what I have posted, I got a Ford keychain, some cabinet scrapers, a hat, brushes that will surely come in handy on a project I have coming up, a machinist ruler and square, candies, seasonings (always trying new stuff there), and some sauce I'm going to have to look into.

Thank You Vbwiley92!

Jbullfrog was my SS this year, he got me a large bag of peanut m&m's (trying to hide these from my wife and kids) A OEM tools magnetic cup, and a pair of Tekton 4 in 1 screwdrivers one stubby and one regular length. I am excited for all of it, and am already planning on a job for the magnetic cup! Thanks Jbullfrog, and to Santa for arranging this each and every year. It brings me great joy to be involved!

Huge thanks to @ckadams00 !!!

I'll have tools in the pouch later today! The light is very cool; I suspect it'll replace the light I have on my speedwall! The pens and pad are useful too. But if I'm honest, I appreciate the drill index most of all! It took me all of one minute to decide I'll mount it near my drill press!

Merry Christmas Everyone! My Santa sent such an awesome gift.. I was blown away! A large amount of thought went into this.. My SS sent something for everyone in my family to enjoy! He sent individually wrapped packages too, which makes it even more e citing for the kiddos! He sent me some seriously awesome Motor racing swag! All signed!! All except one were gotten by my Santa personally! He also send me a sweet Matco hat which will get worn to death. I love hats. He sent my boys each a DIY wood working kit, and a vintage HW car! My daughter got some of jer favorite things on earth- beanie babies. In a hilarious coincidence, the duck beenie shares he birthday! My wife got some yard flags which she LOVES. She's excited to put them out. The kids each got a classic soft peppermint stick to top it off! The vintage NASCAR posters bring back great memories of watching the races with my dad every Sunday growing up when racing was still racing! Thank you Mike, and merry Christmas!

Thanks SS for putting this together again!

Thank you to my secret santa Ksullivan.
I lobe my Jeeps and miss my TJ once in a while. The glass and JK stickers are great as well as the christmas ornament. I really like Milwaukee tools and the gloves fit like a…glove, and the screwdrivers and tape measure will serve me well. I necer have enough pencils so these will be ready to go. I hid the chocolate from the kiddo’s. I’ll save it for a crash during a project. Lol

thanks to the organizers who make this happen, it was a lot of fun.

I'm not sure of my SS user name. But he delivered! A GTO Yeti that will be used very shortly. A craftsman ratcheting driver and a yellow handled Stanley driver. And a Cerakote Ceramic headlight restoration kit that I can't wait to try.

Thanks SS and thank you GJ for putting this on every year.

kberjian is my SS and I sorta thought maybe I got coal due to the weight of the package. (That and I and my son tested positive Thursday, wife and daughter are negative but Christmas is sorta postponed for us).

I must ask what clear packaging tape he used because its amazing, I struggled to cut it, maybe I should sharpen my pocket knife today...

So I get the paper wrapping off and get down to the box. Now I know why its so heavy, the box says Benjamin Moore, he got me paint to paint my car (hope he included a quality brush!! Lol).

I struggled to open the box getting past the tape, once its open, I see a steel plate and I think, did he send me some AR500 targets?

Nope, too thin of steel for that as my fingers grip the edges to pull it up out of the brown paper cushioning it in the Benjamin Moore box.

Wait, I see a piston and a connecting rod. What the heck is this? Now there is a Moose staring at me wearing a sweater with the flag of Canada on the front. He's on a coffee tumbler, hmmm if you put hot coffee in here does his sweater disappear?

Wait, whats peaking out from behind more brown paper? Another piston, is he really Radar O'Reilly and shipping me a Jeep piece by piece? No!! Its a sweet pair of custom bookends he fabricated. I have no idea what they're out of, a quick guess is SBC but he stamped my forum name ito the base and its all clearcoated. Once the shop is built this will go proudly in the office to hold my Chilton and Haynes manuals as well as all my other books I need in the shop. ****, now I need to figure out where to put a shelf!! Thank you so much kberjian, I love, love, love it!!! Merry Christmas my Canadian friend, and Happy Boxing Day tomorrow!!!

I can tell you the "WORX" hand cleaner is amazing, I have a couple of gallons and it will prob. last me the rest of my life. Just a little bit in your palm and it will cut grease like crazy. Don't wash your hands till the slick goes away that is the natural oils in your hands. I use it to take grease from clothes, ink and what ever you think you cant get out. Start with a little bit about the size of a quarter. P.S. sorry but I'm not your SS just a tool man who use to sell it.;)

A big thanks to my SS. Waffles with maple syrup is one of my favorite breakfasts! Locally grown makes it even better. I've already put the magnetic parts holders to use. I'll use the license plate to start a collection. Thank you very much (it was my only present today - we don't exchange gifts between adults in my family).

Wow! We are very impressed with the gifts received from SS. Thank you very much to Trevornd. You really nailed it! We are very touched by an object made by your father. I had never seen before this Ryobi storage tray. Excellent idea! The book is exceptional and the peanuts are a delight! Thank you again! Merry Christmas!

I posted about yours, I got home from the UPS store and found the note sitting on the counter. lol

The Yeti cup is a custom made one off piece made by yours truly. The logo is from a stencil I made from a fender emblem. I sandblasted it and Cerakoted it in Stormtrooper White.
The Stanley driver is also a custom made one off piece. It is a Stanley Demolition Driver with a bit holder that accepts 1/4" locking bits. I've made a few others since then but that one is the first.

All I can say is WOW! Thank you Bill! you pulled out all stops!

Started with a nice card with a note inside, then a vintage Crown logo Craftsman hammer impact, three rotary files, OA torch spark striker and three refills, AO mini screwdriver, LED head lamp, Proto 10: adjustable, 8 mini grinder discs, and a VERY cool Plvmb, made Firestone branded 1/4" ratchet!

Again, WOW! Very generous gifts and much appreciated! Thanks Again Bill!

I don’t know the identity of my GJSS but they sent me a couple of things that I really wanted to get: a small set of Knipex Cobra pliers (branded Cornwell) and a magnetic mat. Apparently, the Cornwell truck does exist!

Thanks very much and Merry Christmas!

Chrismenke was my SS. He sent me some awesome items! First off I received a personal letter from Santa himself. He told me about Chrismenke and the meanings behind his gifts. It was very welcomed. “Santa” informed me of the endeavors of my SS and how I got some sweet swag. I got a hat, zip up sweatshirt, and coozies from a historic restaurant the he is part of. I also received an awesome screwdriver from Wiha with about a million bits. I love the grip as those are my insulated drivers at work. Thank you very much Chrismenke! I really appreciate the thoughtfulness!

Huge shout out to mikeb27! I lucked out with a great haul this year! In addition to a nice Christmas note, Mike hooked me up with some great gloves - perfect sized, no less; some inkzall markers; a really badass Milwaukee USB charge bank bower source thing; and some great relays for an upcoming project I have to get to work on! I'm super stoked about the Albanese gummy bears too, I am a fat kid and love gummy bears! I have had them before and love them!

Thanks Mike for the wonderful gifts and a very merry Christmas!

Robert, Im glad you liked the gifts. The “Gun powder“ seasoning is a local favorite. it goes great on any red meat and pork. I haven’t tried the chicken rub so you’ll have to let me know how it is. The tape measure and flash light are kinda gag gifts, but are so handy. I have another gift for you, but I’m still waiting for it to come in. I’ll send it out asap, I just wanted to make sure you had something to unwrap. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I got a nice box of goodies from up north, from Mr t_roze. A bunch chocolate and 3 nice multi-bit screwdrivers, all Canadian made! It also came with a nice letter. I realize my posts have been few and far between lately so I could've been hard to shop for, but whatever anyone else thinks is cool I will too, and these will all be super handy to have around the house and in the garage or in the car. This was my first year and I think it was an absolute blast, I was way more excited for this gift than I have been for a long time. I am already looking forward to next year! Many thanks to t_roze and gjss for making this happen.

Glad you like it. I was trying to figure out from your posts if you still owned the Street Glide or Trans-Am because I made stencils for both. To me the GTO was the safest bet. lol
I will never sell the GTO!!! I have learned my lesson once they are gone its hard to replace them.

Big shout-out to @Caleb T for the great gifts. I love the vintage ratchet and the new hammer and pry bar already have a home in the recently built shed/mustang garage. I cant wait to try the local steak seasoning and bacon flavored sunflower seeds. I am not sure how you found out about the sweet tooth but you nailed it! Thanks for the nice note/card and I hope you and your family have a great Christmas.

I love participating in GJSS and thanks to the hard working mods that make it happen each year!
