Been using electrical measuring instruments of all kinds from 1958. Simple moving coil voltmeters to very advanced instrument setups used in the acceptance tests of large power transformers and 1500 rpm generators ( units at 1600 MVA)
At home for hobby I have some FLUKE 87s which are more than sufficient.
However, I stumbled across an almost new and unused FLUKE 287, and bought it.
Fantastic instrument, way ahead of the aready very good FLUKE 87s and various FLIRS.
And I must admit that i had to read the manual to understand the full capability of the 287.
Happy as a clam
