It appears that my favorite adjustable shim stock product is no longer available.

What it looks like:

Anyone familiar with a product that is similar?
What about that product make it your favorite and differentiates it from other brands and styles of shim stock? There are a lot of shims available in many different materials. Your link doesn't have a good enough description of what it is.

I finally found a description (looks like it may be a discontinued product)

"Speed shims. Speed-Shims make it easy to level and plumb any surface. Just open the layered shim block to the desired thickness (like a book) and then peel the extra away. Each block has an adhesive back to hold it in place until fastened. No more holding, stacking, or trimming. Made of an engineered wood fiber, each package contains (6) 1/2" thick layered shim blocks. Overall dimensions of each shim block is 3-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1/2". Width: 1-1/4", Length: 3-1/4", Material: Engineered Wood Fiber

These shims aren't tapered.

They are about the thickness of a credit card and a stack of them is stuck together like a tear-off pad of paper.

That's what they look like.

You just peel off the thickness required. Way easier than messing with tapered shims, and they stay as a group unless they are peeled off individually.

The size is convenient, they stay together, they don't rot, and once in place, easily trimmed.

I didn't really use the adhesive back feature.
