3M N95 Mask Prices coming down?

Not wanting to make any frowned upon comments or statements but since the current world HOT topic is focused on KN95 masks the prices for 3M N95 masks are coming down which I use for general construction, sanding or dust control to protect and keep my lungs healthy. Fortunately I bought several boxes in Dec ‘20 and now my stock is getting low. Amazon may be cheaper with larger count boxes.

That's a pretty good price for the 8511. I want to say that it's actually better than it was pre-pandemic.

Yeah. For months, I would see masks, hand sanitizer, etc., in the clearance isle at HD. I was hoping it was a sign that larger corporations had inside intel that "it" was over. Why else give the stuff away? Still can't figure it out, unless they have intel that, for the most part, "it" is over. Fingers crossed.

No one wants those specific masks because of the valve, many places throw a fit over it if you are using it for covid, these type with the breathing valve have been $10-15 for a pack of 10 for a while now. I got a box for $16 off amazon about 2 months ago.

Those clearances were fantastic as I stocked up on a few boxes of sanitizer wipes in tubs or packets marked down to $1 . Seems HD didn't want to get stuck with that inventory.

Yep. I bought a small case of sanitizer, because the bottles and nozzle alone were worth the price. Pre-COVID, I kept a bottle by my poker table. Either I have the most soundproof powder room in the world, or guys weren't washing their hands after the flush, so...

For the past year, Menards has 3M 8511 (10pc) for $20 all day every day, slightly higher than pre-pandemic. Menards also has HoneyWell 20pc for $22. Both US made N95. I bought several boxes during the past year, and the price seems quite stable (no change).

KN95, on the other hand, had a big jump after the holiday. From my recent Amazon history:
60pc KN95, I bought it for $25, now $69
50pc KN95, I bought it for $8, now $40

Everyone STOP! Don’t buy. It appears they’re sending out 400MM (million) N95 masks to CVS, Walgreens, etc. FREE!

3 masks per customer, so maybe no help here.

We've probably already paid for it. These are supposed to be sourced from the Strategic National Stockpile, which currently contains 750 million N95 masks.

Bought several cans of the 'Blaster' hand sanitizer. Thought that was a pretty neat, and they were only $1. Also bought some of the hand sanitizer from the distilleries just to have. Not something you'll ever be able to get again.
