Just finished the molding tonight so the garage is still a wreck. I need to paint the workbench still but the garage is too hot to do a lot at one time. I had a guy come give me an estimate for polyaspartic flooring but thats not in my budget right now. I's rather invest in getting a shed built this fall to get the lawn equipment out of the garage. TV will be going in fairly soon right above the workbench where the Mach 1 drawing is. Let me know what you think! I've had a blast working on my first home that my fiance and I bought back in December.

It looks good!

Great to see that ancient drywall finally painted.

I agree about the shed being a higher priority than flooring. I hate having to move stuff every time I want to work on something.

Looks like a great work space! Can't argue with the theme either.

So is the pegboard covering the hot water heater hinged like a door for access?

Nice looking space! Now I can visualize a little better how much room I'll have in my new build.

I should have posted pics of that. I believe I posted in another thread back when I did it but I didn't have much time last night when uploading pics. Yes it is on hinges. I only have to roll the toolbox out of the way and slide the latches over. Plenty of access and it doubles as pegboard storage as well. That was one of my first projects I did. Pretty impressed with it since I did it without a plan and without ever using power tools before.

So where's the ford truck?

No Ford truck. I used to have a 98 F-150 but I sold it for the Mustang. The sign was packed away and came across it while unpacking boxes. I gave it to my dad because I have a Silverado as my DD so the Mustang can stay in the garage.

Remember, when building your shed decide on a size then increase that by 50% - like a garage, it'll never be big enough!

Cant wait to get a shed built. I'm going to go with a 10x12 which will be plenty big enough and not take over the entire backyard. I mainly want it to get the mower, weedeater, blower, beach chairs(***** living at the beach because people assume you have beach chairs or they leave them behind for a later visit) and all the other small things that don't belong in the garage. I want the garage to be only for hanging out in, small car projects and detailing. Everything else is going in the shed. I'm also trying not to accumlate a bunch of power tools because my dad has a lot of them and I can borrow them from him when needed. No need in buying a bunch of tools that will sit for years at a time after a project is complete.

Little update for my garage. Been busy in the garage since I just got done having a shed built in the backyard. Shed was built to get all the lawn care equipment, bikes, and misc. out of the garage. I got my tv hung, new posters and some Craftsman Versa-Track installed on the wall to hang some detailing brushes and such on. I want to get some Craftsman wall cabinets to match the tall Craftsman cabinet I already have. My parents got me a pub table and stools last year for Christmas. Eventually I want to put RaceDeck down and install another tv on one of the side walls. For now, the floor will do as the wife wants to do some tile work in the kitchen.

Bikes are in garage because I just brought them home from my parents house. I need to install some hangers in the shed before I take them around. I'm hoping to replace those clear plastic bins with a Craftsman tool chest to store all my detailing microfiber towels and buffing pads.

I also heard the bulbs and ballasts for my lights are going to be discontinued. I guess I'm gonna have to replace those with new ones or figure out some new lighting ideas. Ideally, I'd like to have some can lights installed that would give me just as much lighting as I have now...

I might steal this color scheme for my garage, but in place of all the Mustang pictures I will have cooler Camaro ones! :bounce:

It's a nice looking setup and a nice looking Mach 1 too!

The garage came out looking nice. I only have one complaint. It is all the nasty 4 letter F words all over the place!! Bowtie's Baby! Bowtie's!

Added some Craftsman cabinets to the garage this weekend. They hold more than I thought they would, and they look good with my garage theme.
