how do I fix this?

Thank you.

Long term you get new ones or have it re-plated. Short term remove rust with metal polish and very fine steel wool, then clear coat it.

Take it off and put one on that isn't chrome.

The chrome is technically damaged now and will never return to what it was new. You can clean it with some steel wool and then give it a good waxing but you will have to either keep it try forever or regularly keep it waxed to keep the rust away.

Have it replated or replace it and stop using it to feel for concrete structure while parking lol

The painting ones on my 350 I drive are all rusty from chains and the occasional wall, I have up.

Clean it with steel wool and paint it with clear poly.

I've cleaned up rusty chrome exhaust tips with aluminum foil. Crinkle it up decent, get everything wet with water and scrub away.

Remove it, and take it to a fabrication shop to have a new one built to spec out of stainless steel.

That's what i was going to say. Chrome polish or rubbing compound also works.
If you get a bottle of clear coat tuch up paint you can cover wherever the chrome wore through and that'll stop the rusting unless it's cheap metal and chrome.

who knows - from the photo looks like there is some lower valance damage too where whatever hit the tow hook hit the valance. If it is bolted on, replace it if the valance is repaired.
