I may have missed the post on this-While looking at new snap-on products I ran across -http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/new.asp. Thought I would share.

For as much crying and knashing of teeth that there has been posted on the board about bring the hard handles back, Snap on should be out of stock of the handles for at least the next year. :wtf:

I thought people wanted to buy hard handle screwdrivers and screwdriver sets, not handles as spare parts???

All my hard handles, from miniature screwdriver to #3 philips, are all marked USA.

They do. They also want to do handle transplants.

In the other thread we discussed why Snap-on won't bring them back complete.


I just read that thread. What's the reasoning again? It wasn't very clear to me. Mainly, you posit that such would be an admission that the Instinct series isn't up to par?

snap on had the square style handle for too long and too many people prefer it to any other style. I sell the **** out of the instinct handle and I will continue to do so. I sell 3-4 sets a week and if they are on promo I go through them like crazy
