New tool day - Makita impact

I missed the truck 2 times before finally getting this today. I bought it for lug nuts on my van and for general use in the field. It definitely does the lug nuts.

We need to know model number. mid range, torque specs, new model, old model, hog ring or pin detent? LOL I have Makitas in 3/8" and 1/2" I've not had issues with the 1/2" and properly torqued lug nuts on my Honda. The only car I work on. When I was working in a shop that we did a lot of teardown on LARGE Dana axles the 18v Milwaukee was a beast. But that doesn't happen at home, and I have no Milwaukee 18v tools.

That's the newer brushless mid torque. Should be XWT17.

That’s made in Japan, not China. Correct?

DTW700 is the model here in Canada. It's "rated" at 750 ft lbs in reverse and 500 forward. I did a quick test on the lug nuts on my minivan and I already wish the friction ring had a little more friction.
