Guy wanted 5 but I gave him 45. I'm still way ahead and told him that..

Snap on 1/2 ratchet adaptor. Snap On -20-23 chrome shorts, SK 1/2 to 11/16, SK 1 1/16, A Thorsen 9mm, Easco 11/16, P&C 9/16, and a few others.

Not sure what the ones are with hex drive but looked cool. They have the weird D on either side of the size. One only has the encircled H. Anyone have an idea what they are?

There's a few more not in the picture. Would love to know more about the bottom right 3. They are the most interesting of the bunch.

Thanks for the info. It's neat to have some hex drive stuff in my collection. I don't come across it very often.

Wow just wow what a great buy.

I looked at the link MRB1 posted about the hex drive. I think I had bits and pieces of a hex drive set when I first got tools 50 years ago. I did not know what they were. I thought the world was square drive.
There is a whole world of obsolete hex drive out there from various makers! Fun to collect and not so expensive, here's some of my ,448" hex Britool.

As usual, a knowledgeable member here is correct. It is Duro and Hinsdale. Above images are from the AA website. Start with the "Trademarks and Logos" section until you find the maker. Then look that up in the "Manufacturer Index". A member here turned me on to the AA a year or so ago when I was going through my late fathers tools. Invaluable resource. Still use it all the time now.

It is, indeed, a valuable resource, but riddled with inaccuracies, so, not to be taken without a healthy dose of skepticism.

Hinsdale and Duro for the win. Apparently very old Duro. They cleaned up nice in the ultrasonic cleaner. (Yes the ratchet was taken apart, cleaned and lubed before going back together)

Old guy I bought the stuff from didn't know what he was selling. He said his dad and brother were mechanics and he was trying to raise some extra money to do some things around his house. Guy was about 70 and really nice.

Sometimes people just need to do the right thing, even if it puts a little hurt on the wallet.

Hey that's GREAT!
I know of a couple of Chiseler F-ing Pickers, I call them hyenas, that would have offered 3 bucks for all those sockets!!

I heard two Hyena Pickers brag to each other, as they were exchanging stories, each one-upping the other about lowballing widows and people who didn't know better, the worth or value of the stuff they were trying to sell....
As if the stuff wasn't cheap enough, they chiseled them for even less.
Made me ill.

Back to you, OP.
Good for you
And bless your heart!

Years ago I was at a flea market and a guy was bound and determined to talk a guy down on a tobacco tin. After listening to him for about five minutes, I went over and bought it full price. The other guy went livid at me for interfering with his deal. I didn’t need it or want it, still have it, but the satisfaction of making that guy that angry was well worth the money.
