Dykem Brite Mark is the finest paint pen I have used. If it gets hot enough for long enough the color will disappear and it will go white. Have painted marks on the outside of catalytic converters that survived getting quite hot.

Very common in industry with hoist & crane systems, both as a check for installers and also a double-check for inspectors later on.

Nail polish with the laquer finish works very well, not sure if professional brands made for it are more durable though. Most trucks And buses I’ve seen use a plastic piece with a point on each lug nut for this purpose which would be the best way if possible

I was able to find some. Going to try the Dykem and Markal brand they are cheap. thanks for all your help guys

We use the neon yellow cross check at work for lug nuts. For my paint pens, I just go to the local airgas shop and grab whatever they have - I honestly don’t know the brand.

I just bought one of each, the Markal and cross check by Dykem. Will see if there is any difference between the two, They are most likely same thing.

This is the stuff I’ve used at work for years. We have to put it on when we assemble switch gear and stuff.

I use it for fab projects and stuff too.

Look like you already found it -- "torque seal" seems to be the brand name.

As noted above, nail polish will do the trick in a pinch and is a hell of a lot easier to find.
