Those bogus deals constantly pop up on Facebook, and I am seeing them when I do a google search for a specific tool.

Always from a source with no verifiable history, and with prices way below legitimate, reputable sources.

Fasteners Inc. is a legit site, Been in business for a while (20+ years), and gets featured on the YouTube tool review circuit quite a bit. The link is to the weekly Saturday deal of the day. The website is their online outlet. I've ordered from them in the past with no issues.

Here's a link to a video from a year ago with a deal spotlight.

And of course the companies own glamour video, of their flagship Nevada store.

but Fasteners has plenty of history. There is often a branch found in major cities. those sites also have no real contact information, and all the prices for ever tool are the same, not to mention the most random categories you could put together for one site.

the only thing a little misleading is the title of this thread. It is one 5ah battery for $69, max 2 per order. I thought it was 2 for the $69 (sure there is a joke there).

still a good price on retail 5ah with no hoops

OK Maybe, l didn't check the company, I stole it from slick deals,
Fasteners Inc is legitimate. They are here in Metro Detroit, among other places. It doesn't surprise me that people outside of industrial construction are not familiar with them. I wouldn't expect the backwoods of the U.P. to have one.
Bubinga : it was a good deal, sadly I missed it seeing it this morning. Couple crew members are looking for a deal on the 5.0.

I thought it was legitimate, like I said I didn't check the company which I usually do.
You see a lot of them rip off things with DeWalt DCF 899 B for $50 on websites I know what they mean they're there are a lot of them rip off websites.
A lot of them on marketplace too,
No actually sponsored ads from through Facebook those idiots paid Facebook to put those ads on Facebook don't give a dark long as they're getting paid.
And then I slip up and and swear or something, or commenting on a scammers profile that I'm sick of these Jag- offs Then I get an infraction.

Slickdeals would be all over a scam site & berate the poster :ROFLMAO:. This was a legit flash sale. If you click the link to their main page, it has ads for march madness sales. A scam site would never put that kind of effort in

Fasteners, Inc. is in my opinion not a reputable business.

1) They state on their website "Free Shipping on DeWalt Orders of $99 to The United States".

This is not true. Alaska and Hawaii are part of the United States, and they do not ship to Alaska, period.

2) If you contact them to ask about the statement above, they won't even reply, at least in my experience.

Why would anyone want to do business with an outfit like this?

Absolutely. As such, I am very well acquainted with the difficulties and expense of shipping here, and I've found that most reputable companies will clearly state their policy, and work with me if I email them, or at the very least respond.

Thus, when a company like Fasteners Inc. posts inaccurate information on their website and doesn't answer emails, I take my business elsewhere. And I think their lack of attention to detail and unresponsiveness probably indicate how they treat all their customers, not just me.
