I bought one hard handle and I REALLY like it. It’s the only one I’m currently using, I like how it feels in my hand.

I purchased the square type and the tri-lobe versions of the stubbies.. I haven't decided on a favorite yet. I don't seem to be able to upload a pic though, not sure what's going on.

While at Lowes today I just had to take a glance at their Craftsman display on the way to the registers. While I wasn't in need of a new prybar set, for $20 this made-in-China set with striking caps came home with me. Time will tell how they fare against their Sears USA-made counterparts.

I don't know what it is... I really like straight prybars... not the bent ones. I HAVE all the bent ones you pictured there... with the red handles... I still go back to the straight Snap-On one that's all beat to ****.

Picked up this Astro pneumatic ball joint press set! It was one of the Amazon “used” deals. The case had scratches on it but still functioned fine. Paid $117 which is a bit less than full retail. I am glad I bought it! Ball joints on my ram 2500 and I needed the adapter’s included in this kit!

Replace my existing kill-a watt...
I have two, the oldest one that is similar to yours, where you use a button to select the function, and a newer model that is menu driven. I go with the older one whenever I can. It's a great tool for dealing with AC current measurements up to 15amp, and also kW and kWh use over time. Yours looks like an updated version of my older one. They're also not terribly expensive.

Was the press adequate for the Ram or would their oversized (“Goliath”) have been nicer? Getting ready to do this job myself and need to order a press.

To everybody wanting the Snap-on pocket pry bars. It says on Snap-on's website:

Item Backordered. Shipment dates are subject to change. Estimated in stock 4/26/2022
That’s for website orders, doesn’t necessarily to dealers. Every time the website has shown a backorder my dealer has gotten it for me much, much earlier than the date quoted on the website.

Forgot to snap a pic before I tossed it in the toolbox, but picked up a torque angle-gauge for what I thought was $9.99... rang up at $3.61! I'm certain this has to be the only time I've ever left Princess Auto with something in my hand having spent less than $5!

I "needed" one (if we're being technical, seeing as I figure I can eyeball 90 degrees ok enough for an already torqued bolt) for the brakes when I was torquing the caliper carriers on the Sportwagen's rear brakes. I'm fairly certain that space behind the carrier, now that I think about it, probably wouldn't have allowed for it to be used in hindsight on account of the bracket on the rear cross member that holds the ABS sensor wire.

The press was fantastic! This kit includes the needed adapters but I would recommend getting the shorter forcing screw. The included one is tall enough it was rubbing on the shock mount tower and was turning the press slightly off center. If it had been 2 “ shorter, it would have been fantastic.

Snap-on 1/4" drive 9" breaker bar - TM9G.

Curious what use you have to warrent this lol

Almost all of my use for breaker bars is with crowfoot wrenches. Sometimes it's when I want exact control over a socket turning and can't have it ratcheting, or when the head of the ratchet is too large and the breaker bar is what fits. I haven't really ever used a breaker bar to break things free, back when I used all my dad's hand me down ratchets, I didn't know any better, and now in the modern times of cordless impact wrenches and super strong ratchets, I never find myself using a breaker bar as a "breaker bar."

It'll be a while before I get pix up, but my new WIHA large-scale ratchet box / OE wrenches (Imperial and metric) showed up... Man, I can't believe how AWESOME these were, and at better than 90% off list... up to 30mm metric, 1 1/2" imperial, and the quality I expected from Wiha... Like German Snappy. Just dedicated a new drawer in my boxes for them... go to play with them a bit...

Let's just say... :rocker:

I don’t have a Mac guy but had been eyeing their set and had a zoro coupon so went with the Proto set. Was hesitant about the ratcheting screwdriver but it’s actually very very smooth. 2528390D-67A4-49A3-A3C3-25300D573D40.jpeg
Dang I have the Mac set but I kinda really like the gray and black of the Proto better.

Very nice. Still holding out for an RBRT set. This set is probably worth it for the ratcheting screwdrivers alone @ $96 + holding out for a 20% coupon. For reference this is a Proto J61390 since Zoro search algorithms are lacking.

Correct on the part number. After the 20% coupon and tax I believe I paid 81? certainly worth it at that. I have the Williams ratcheting driver as well and its not as smooth but still quite nice and a higher tooth count with knurled shaft.

Update - after abusing them over the weekend, they are every bit of the wrench set I expected, and more. I also checked the website and they still have both sets on sale, if you're interested...
