Then a 15mm shallow 6 point Husky socket. To replace my Craftsman USA that the shop thief got away with....
Sounds like the shop thief needs a tune up!
A couple new goodies from the orange store. 10mm Husky deep 3/8 10mm 6 point socket. You can’t ever have too many 10mm. I got this to have as an extra.
Then a 15mm shallow 6 point Husky socket. To replace my Craftsman USA that the shop thief got away with. He almost got away with some more of my stuff but I caught him those times. It’s a shame someone would take something that you worked hard to get. I can’t stand a thief. He is one of our express tech. I confronted him and he got red faced saying no man all my sockets are Gearwrench. Someone else confronted him and he started shaking. I said dude if you took it over the weekend just tell me and be honest that’s all I want or if it’s under the hood of a car somewhere just tell me. If you lose something of mine I expect it to be replaced. I’ve always made it even with my coworkers if I broke or lost something of theirs and that’s what I expect too. At least he didn’t get away with my Snap-on one. Don’t think I’m going to put this socket on my rail though. I came up with a plan I bought a really really cheap no name at the pawn shop to put on the rail so if someone does take it they get a crappy one and I’m keeping this one somewhere else. I didn’t have an extra 6 point one to bring there so I got one. Not that I use 15mm a lot but it’s there for when I need it.
Last but not least I got a Milwaukee Inkzall marker. It was .97 cents. I like having permanent markers around you just never know when you’ll need it.
Astro 78585 coolant system tester/filler. Naturally I had to order the 3 extra caps that they exclude... I need 2 of them for my own fleet.
I have and love this kit... I really wish they included the adapter for the Ford Superduty trucks... The other issue I have is the "old school" radiator cap adapter. The caps were made in multiple depths.... The included one is the short version, one of my (2 of my) cars use a deeper version of that type of cap. I haven't figured out an adapter yet.
I thought about getting one of the cheaper ones, but I got this one 10% off, and figured Astro support would be worthwhile.great tool to have. as much as i love astro, this is one tool of theirs that is a blatant rebadged set that can be had for half of what they sell for on amazon. co worker had the astro set, i bought an identical set that is same down to the box and corresponding cap colors. my caps and pump doesnt have the poorly printed astro name on the parts but at least i didnt have to pay extra for the three caps they dont include in their set
For me... long extensions have to have a lock for the socket. Specially in 1/4"... those are mighty pretty tho.
Very nice. Could see these being handier in tight places than stubby ratcheting wrenches. I find it kind of funny you have to get the VIM set for the 13mm, yet the VIM set is missing the 11mm along with the 14/15. Maybe I'll cut down a set of the Mountain/Kabos so I can have a complete set.
The set needs a 13, wish it had a 13 instead of the 14.Very nice. Could see these being handier in tight places than stubby ratcheting wrenches. For anyone in Europe, this looks the same as the similar kit from BGS. I got its components separately for cheaper, pump was about 20eur and each screw cap is about 7eur. Is that contraption on the left for vacuum coolant filing?
Or....lock the tool box.Time to mount a security camera on your toolbox?

I didn't even know these were a thing, but somehow I already need them.
This is GJ. Clearly the answer is ‘time to upgrade to an Epiq with remote central locking’Or....lock the tool box.

As long as you're talking made in TW, pretty accurate.great tool to have. as much as i love astro, this is one tool of theirs that is a blatant rebadged set that can be had for half of what they sell for on amazon. co worker had the astro set, i bought an identical set that is same down to the box and corresponding cap colors. my caps and pump doesnt have the poorly printed astro name on the parts but at least i didnt have to pay extra for the three caps they dont include in their set
