Those are pretty cool! Ridiculously uncommon now due to how few still exist. Even the vans are fairly uncommon compared to the ford econoline or dodge a100 vans/trucks if the era.

The truck was painted when it was in the movie ‘My Girl 2’. I have left it the way it came off the movie set. I had the 2 toys done up and decalled to look the actual truck. All of the paraphernalia in the back is what I added to the truck. That way my wife got a room back in the house and now I have a portable man cave. Unfortunately I have more than what the truck can show so I might start selling off some of the items…

I think they were slightly ahead of their time… 4 carbs, 180 hp turbo… I’ve always had the 2 speed power glide with 110 up twin carb models. My favourite is the Rampside. It’s been in the family now for about 10 years. We also have a 2 door 1965 convertible Monza that has been in the family since the early 1980’s… my son drives that one now…

Was heavy into Corvairs in the '70s and early '80s. This one of my '65 Corsa coupes at an autocross in Tampa around 1980.



That car was such great fun to drive and would outrun Corvettes and Porsches in an autocross back then. Moving for work necessitated liquidating the Corvair collection in 1990. Love the FC Corvairs - a buddy in Tampa long ago had an 8 door van - what an oddity that was.
Don, may I ask where your daughter got the neon convertible sign? That is just outa sight! Sorry for the thread hijack!

Someone I work with was just telling me recently that when he was growing up their family car was a prototype v8 Corvair. He said his grandfather worked for GM and and had purchased it for them for almost nothing when the idea was scrapped. I have never seen anything else about the existance a factory v8 Corvair, so who knows if it was legit or not, but it is a cool idea.

Correct, it’s a valve stem removal tool. I believe it’s 60’s era?

One of my more recent purchases and one I've never seen before in the many years I've been collecting vintage motorcycle toys and motormobilia is this chrome plated motorcycle trophy top or ornament.

It's either a chrome plated original Barclay toy motorcycle from the 1940's Era, or it was cast from an original Barclay Toy with an added base/bolt welded/soldered to the bottom.

I am now searching for a nice vintage trophy base or some other type of base to mount and display it.
