New tools today. Slack adjuster tools. Need those for my dads truck adjusting the slack adjusters. Probably could of gotten them somewhere else cheaper but he had them and rarely does so I figured I’d get them now. Replacement 13mm socket and a pocket Phillips head screwdriver. Replacement 7 inch straight jaw locking pliers. Mine the chrome started peeling on the third use. Was somewhat disappointed about that. Hopefully won’t have the issue again. I’ll put a picture of the pair before too.

If you don’t have automatically adjusting ones you have to adjust them manually and that’s what these tools are for. You could also use a 5/16 wrench and flat head screwdriver which is how we have been doing it but this is GJ and I need these tools lol

I have one. I had to fix the mop head attachment. No steam coming from it. The hose was disconnected in the mop head. Other than that it has been a great unit.McCulloch 1385 showed up. Comes with all sorts of attachable gizmo's. The bag for all that **** is laughably cheap, gonna find a box for it all.
Ya just have to attach the handle to the machine, wrap the powercord around the two hooks on the back & coil the steam hose . everything else is loose. Ya gonna need a box...LOL, I just had the exact same thing arrive this afternoon.
I didn't even try to pull it out the box yet.
OK I opened the box thinking I might try to put it together tonight, and this is as far as I got. Nope. Maybe tomorrow. lol

I have these Stanleys in VDE and they are actually better than the Facom ones, which I also have.Stanley (Facom) Screwdriver set. Bought because it had Pozidrives. $7.03
Looking at my pairs they look the same, I just had not looked at them that closely. Should be normal.

So far so good, it’s my only locking ratchet so I have a learning curve.

Yup, I bought a box @ $5.99 when they finaly dropped backdown in price. I could've sworn I remember them being better but that was years before the pandemic. Glad I only bought 1 box, I was planning to buy 4 or 5. They also seem to be larger in size than I remember. But whatever I'll just use them for light duty stuff.
The 4800 is normally like $65 but can be bought for $49 with a coupon. Way to big for tool kit in my truck.
I'll agree they aren't the best but my general use is during oil changes, painting/staining or spraying weed killer.
Crescent is now part of Apex Tool. With that said Taiwan is their Good stuff these days.My "acceptable" Crescent's showed up. Apparently "acceptable" means "obviously used and returned for refund." But the cutting faces are undamaged and only show the slightest hint of light at the tip so I guess I'll keep them.
ETA: and I just noticed hecho en west Taiwan.
Oh I wish they were made in Taiwan, I probably wouldn't have dug 1/8" slivers of metal out of the hinge mechanism if it were. Unfortunately this was made to the west on the mainland. The finishing on it is terrible, the jaws are ground unevenly at the tip, uneven grind marks galore. They're functional, but that's about all I can say about them. I think I'll keep them just to try out the compound mechanism.
That drum brake spring tool looks short or is it the angle of the way the photo was taken? I just used my Craftsman one for replacing the rear brakes on my Ford Ranger
OEM brake spring pliers. Gearwrench serpentine belt tool and some Dasco Pro punches. From a member on here. Then a Matco T9 screwdriver for taking things apart on my power tools and a T35 torx bit socket. Can’t say I’ll ever need it but it was cheap and I didn’t have it. Direct from Matco. Also have a 4 inch set of needle nose locking pliers coming from them as well but they are on back order.
It’s normal sized. Just the angle. Same size as all the rest of my pairs. Really handy when you need it. Fortunately I don’t do many drum brakes anymore lol.
I spy a 1.8TThe first of my extra long ratchet box wrench’s turned up this week, I forgot to take a photo of it when it came in, so here’s it when I started using it. I’m really pleased with it, works great.
I wanted the full set of these, but they were coming in at over $1000…you know it’s bad when the snap on guy says ‘these come with a lot of lube’. So I ordered the 10, 13, 16, 17mm for now, will pick up the 18 and 19 when my bank balance recovers
