Greetings all....I got an older service jack at an estate sale...with the thoughts of restoring it into something usable in my shop...
I guess not really vintage...tag says 1972...but 50 years may qualify...any thoughts on the brand...? I don't think its anything special...but it would be helpful to track down some info on it...for seals and such...Thanks for any help...Wes20220512_194226.jpg20220512_194303.jpg20220512_194244.jpg20220512_194134.jpg

It’s a older import, sold under various outlets. It’s honestly not a bad design, very simple with very few seals. I wouldn’t even try to source a kit, just measure them out and order them individually if it’s a good re-seal candidate.

Hi! I am new here and I need help! I have acquired an old floor jack and there are no markings to identify it! I have cleaned it up and drained the oil but I am not sure where to add the new jack oil. There is a rubber plug and a large slotted machine screw on the top of the jack. With no instructions, I don't want to mess it up! Thank you in advance for your help!

The hole on the reservoir where you removed the rubber plug would be the fill hole. If you look in the hole you will see the inner cylinder, Fill to the oil rests just above it and Bleed the jack, re check the oil level and Use it.

Thank you so much! I will let you know how it goes! Are you able to identify the maker?
