LOL! My theory is a mechanic lost it in a car and the owner while driving it loosen it and it finally fell out. I found a Matco extended ratchet wrench the same way.

LOL! If I'm in a tight spot, I use a no name sockets (I've lost brand names that way) I have a ring loop I keep 10mm sockets on, some brand names some not. It willget added. This one is a souvenir.

Perhaps the mechanic was using the SO 10mm on the Matco ratchet.
