Prevost makes the best couplers. Milton makes good components and are commonly available.

I'm doing some improvements to the garage and need some advice or direction on some easy to use push to connect air hose fittings? My grandfather has some mobility issues (neuropathy, arthritis) in his hands but i want pneumatic tools to still be accessible for him, if possible. I purchased some...

The price on those PREVOST is nuts. $50 for a 3/8 body quick connect...almost 10x the price of the Milton.
I just ordered 5 of the Hi Flow couplers for 115 on Ebay. Hell, even Zoro has them for 36 each without coupon. Keep looking......

Prevost or Dixon for the couplers. For the ******* any Milton will do and they are dirt cheap.

Can't say on longevity, as I switched out one to test first and it's only been about 2 weeks, but Prevost is WAAAAAY easier to plug and unplug than my Milton it replaced! I ordered the 5 to replace my other couplers.

The one I replaced is my outdoor reel that I mainly use to blow off the plow truck in the Winter. It can be a PITA unhooking at -20F, and my Miltons would last about a year in that application. I'm anxious to see how long the Prevost last, I can already tell the unhooking is going to much nicer!

Thank god I married a good one. My wife loves the stedlin couplers in the garage as it makes it easy to hook up and unhook. It also has a slow pressure release feature on the ******* so when you do unhook the hose it doesn't depressurize instantly ( and loudly with hose whip) but slowly over a minute or so. She never asks me to check/inflate her tires anymore, she gleefully does it on her own.

Strictly DIY, but I have never had a problem with Harbor Freight couplers.
Ya they are standard economy brand, but then I gotta drive there.....not close, and then I buy stuff I don't need.
I just wanted new washers for my Job Supply/Tractor Supply brand but I cannot find washers.

They're for 1/4" couplers, I don't know if they offer them for 3/8", you could try messaging the seller. Or if your seal ain't too bad, measure it & see if you can find them at Mcmaster.
I only use those common style couplers for my leader hoses though. The couplers I use at the tools are Coilhose Pneumatics 5-n-1. I love these couplers, as the name implies they can accept 5 different style ******* including high flows. Slide the bottom collar to release line pressure, then the top collar to release the ******. To insert the ****** just press in, no need to pull back on the collar & since the line pressure is released it's easy to insert a ****** (like it would be harder with high line pressure). Milton offers the same style as does HF (Merlin brand). So much easier to use & nice cause I leave the tool connected & depressurized. They're 1/4" though. Do you have to use 3/8", how about 1/4" & high flow? 1/4" will always be much easier & cheaper to find.
Don't mind the swivels, this is the only pic I have from when I took those swivels off & threw em in the trash.
Looks like Milton does offer them in 3/8", but only 2-n-1 (H & P *******). They ain't cheap though ($30). P/N S-1758
