Update on my 86gt project. Some time before my ownership of the car some body swapped a 83-84 gen t5 trans in it. They are getting hard to find parts for so looks like I am on the hunt for a trans for the car. Updates to follow soon I hope.

Looks good! How many miles on the DD? My friend just retired his focus (affectionately know as ”The Shitbox Racer”) with 378,000 miles. We did replace the head on purchase (know valve guide issues).

Put my hand held small 2 stroke parts in one box instead of being spread around the shop and put it away in the shed

Kev, This is a great idea, minus that voyager sticker, that needs to be replaced with "2-Stroke Parts" (Pelican Pines for assistance? LOL!) as in a year you will not remember into which of the 104 of those boxes you put them into! (Strouty will get that #'d reference!) If I had a spot to store that dolly I would have one in a second my shins would be much happier! Harry

Kev, you’ve been busy! I love the 2-stroke parts box. I should Make something similar for small engine and marine parts. I just have a cardboard box with each. I think you’ll love the top for your mechanics tools. I have a hard time keeping my tool box top clear though. The can holders above your boxes. Are those bought or handmade? I’ve talked about making some that will be more custom, but dang steel has gotten high!

Kev would you consider sharing what you used for clips? I had thought about 9V battery clips, but with Radio Shack gone, [I know only sort of in the US, it is a stripped down version, but in Canada GONE, and no the Source isn't a supplier of anything even close now] Amazon seems ... uhmm overkill for 1. nothing ounces. I'm not sure they are tough enough either for any real weight from a decent sized handle. Harry

Yesterday I swapped my good motor on a rusty deck to a deck that is in good shape and not so rusty.GEDC1875.JPGGEDC1876.JPGGEDC1877.JPG
I had to do that 2-3 years ago. Save the manufacturers info on the old chassis. My mower parts shop needed the original serial number to match up a new blade and blade adaptor. They wouldn’t sell me parts for a Frankenstein mower.
