How to organize my 1/4” socket set?

For well over 20 years I have kept my 1/4” socket set in this plastic tray. But now I’d like to use a more functional organization, possibly incorporating onto my pegboard. Any suggestions?

I use these far more often than my standard drive set which is in a tool chest in standard socket holders. I’d like to keep this 1/4” set more accessible at the workbench.02216219-206F-443F-8EC6-81B4192326F9.jpeg

I keep my 1/4 drive in an old SnapOn KR59 box. Works great, but they can be pricey anymore.

Dang. I love that Lee Valley organizer as it keeps the drive with the sockets, but I also like the idea of the magnetic holders. Wish I could find something that did both in a single unit.

You sure that is not a KRA-65? I kind of gave up looking for those and found a similar coin box for $8 over at PAL clearance. Also bought some butterfly draw latches previously suggested.

Ernst (or Tekton, Lee Valley, Gray - they're all the same) socket trays and rails. Available with a magnetic option too. Affordable, customizable, sturdy.

It is a KR65 - early onset senility strikes again….I was looking at a KRA59 a couple days ago and still had that number stuck in my pre-coffee brain this morning.

If you move your set around a lot get a pelican case. A 1040 or 1060 will have room for drive tools, shallow and bit sockets in metric and imperial plus torx bit sockets
