Actually I think I might be sold on that thing too vs the two bulky old wheel barrows I have taking up space. Thanks for posting this up, I', giving it a try too I believe

The problem I see with it is the wheel being all the way up front. The beauty of a traditional wheel barrow is the weight is loaded onto the wheel. In this gadget, the user is carrying 40 to 50% of the weight. Some of the balance is distributed down toward the axle, but I can hardly imagine it compares to a true wheel barrow.
Loading it would be easy, but then you have to bend over to pick the weight up. I would bet money that the logs are supported from underneath in the amazon pictures.

Guys I won one of these and just blew out one of the side support poles. These are wicked wheel barrows if you are moving light gardening supplies. I was moving firewood and gravel and the arm finally collapsed on me, this is not meant for heavy duty lifting or work. Nor is it meant for large loads. I had to borrow my concrete buddies wheel barrow to finish the job and it was more than up to the task.

I'm not knocking these up till this point it's been awesome for us but the minute you need heavy work done I would look elsewhere.

I agree that this is not a replacement for a conventional wheel barrow for "manly" heavy duty landscaping. But I think it would be more than adequate for the wife to do some gardening. I could see it being useful for carrying pulled weeds to the compost, a bag or two of top soil, a flat or two of marigolds, or other light gardening activities. In fact, if set side by side in the garage, I think my wife would pick this over a conventional wheel barrow. Plus with the lower center of gravity, it would be easier to steer as you do not need to balance the load over the tire as you tip it to make a turn. No doubt not a replacement for a wheel barrow, but still very useful. I think I would make my own though and use the $100 for more car parts....

Yeah... My wife doesn't do much concrete work... As I mentioned, she's just doing yard work. And it's been perfect for that - so far.

I got a tipke folding garden cart today. It costs about $100 more than the Allsop. I haven't used it yet. I think I'm gonna like it.

In a different league all-together (price-wise as well), but I have to put in a plug for the "fold-it" cart. I bought one many years ago because I had severe storage limitations.

The limitations aren't there anymore, but the cart still is. I wouldn't know what to do without it. Not to mention it is found in nearly every pit stall in every racing series, so there is a motorsports connection there as well!
