6 months old bathroom sink got stains

hi all,
I bought this from wayfair.ca and installed it last October 2021. Somehow it got stains on it. I have tried following to remove those stains but no luck

I tried - paper towel soaked in industrial degreaser on top of stains for 4 hours, no success.
I tried - baking soda and vinegar method from google youtube, no success.
I tried - I have steam cleaner but no luck.

Any idea if it can be fixed. ( in Photo the stains look not to noticable but they are noticeable and little darker than in picture)
Sink is not under warranty anymore.

We use a product called barkeepers friend for our sinks and countertops "quartz"

I have found Peroxide removed stubborn stains from a Porcelain coated bath tub.

Had a stain on bathtub that resisted a lot of cleaners. I put some liquid toilet bowl cleaner on it and let it soak. That removed it. If you try this be careful of not getting it on metal fixtures. Not sure what it might do to them.

Is that a white sink? Try Whink rust stain remover. Says its for rust, but will make white fixtures white again.. Incredible how well this works.

Important to know what the finish is on the sink.
Porcelain? Acrylic? Pleather?

I’m surprised that something this dangerous is still on the market considering our “nanny” rules makers these days. The active ingredient, Hydrofluoric acid, is the same stuff used in industry to etch glass. In concentrated form for lab use it is only shipped in Teflon bottles because it will totally dissolve glass.
Here are the warnings printed on the bottle. This is some serious stuff.

Sand it, buff it just like you were doing headlights.

You'll have to remove some material. The stain is not on the surface, it is in the material.

If we have HF (aq) in the lab, we are required to keep Calcium Gluconate cream as an "antidote" in the lab as well.
I got rid of it instead. Keeping some reagents for "just in case" gets problematic when the safety police make you jump through hoops to keep them.

Easy fix .....

Use any boat hull acid cleaner, we use Starbrite Ez On Ez Off because it is readily available around our area. It removes the stains from fiberglass without hurting it, same with sinks and tubs. To do whole tubs, I buy a cheap spray bottle and then throw it away when I'm done.

For your sink, just a rag and gloves. Apply to rag, let it sit for 60 seconds and wipe off with another clean wet rag ...... Wash with soap and water when your finished.

Test 1 spot, I think you will be surprised.

Nobody has mentioned that maybe it is something actually in the sink material ? Does anyone in your family have any thoughts on what stained it ? If not it might just be cheap imported material with impurities that are starting to bleed out ?

Hello All,
I found what caused the stain, its a special type of perfume oil/100% concentrated essential oil derived from botanical or other natural sources. Most commonly these oils are extracted via hydro or steam distillation. its not like any other essential oil you have seen, its very thick oil/perfume, if you put more than regulara amount on clothes, it aint going away for 2 weeks even after you wash clothes. O yes, I forgot that the perfume oil has stained my couple tshirts and clothes for life.
