It’s the Milwaukee under the hood light. Its so great for working on the car, either in the engine compartment Or in the interior as you see in the picture.

Go kart rim doesn't fit the go kart. I'm an idiot and didn't measure right. Rim needs a 3/4" hole in it and it's only 16mm.

Told the son we'll go look at tractor supply and see if they have one tomorrow. If they don't we'll buy a 3/4" drill bit, mount the wheel on the mill, and bore a new hole in the middle of it.

For me, I would be using either a step drill or hole saw for that 3/4" hole.

Dunno if this counts as a garage endeavor or a yard endeavor or neither.

But got the LTD loaded onto the trailer.

It was a toss up between this LTD, and a Subaru Impreza AWD.

LTD won out because it runs and drives, whereas the Impreza doesn’t. Plus flat tires. Plus no one to help steer drag it lol.

Just outside the attached garage- had 36 bottles of empty twist off beer bottles soaking in TSP and water to get the labels off.

This is in preparation to go to a brewery in Kettering , OHIO and brew one of their draft beers .

Eudora Brewery has facilities for brewing their beer- to be able to enjoy at home !

I spent a few hours soldering. First I desoldered 3 capacitors off of an old motherboard I had that was dead and not really relevant anymore. Then I soldered several wires together.
It's not that any of that was needed or I fixed anything - it's that I'm not good at soldering because I don't do it often. Sometimes the best way to learn is to sit down and play and I had some free time this afternoon.

It definitely helped.

The -6 AN 90 fittings showed up from Summitt, so decided to try and reassemble leaking fuel system with the hoses I had made a couple of days ago. It holds pressure - hallelujah!!! Now to put upholstery back together and attack the brake issue.

Helped the neighbor load a '48 Farmall Cub on the freight shippers trailer. ^^Rookie husband/wife team^^. They pull up with the Chevy 64? stepside already on the trailer Pulled the truck off and they tried for a bit to winch the tractor straight on an slide it sideways...nope. Push the Farmall back off and use another neighbors newer little Ford yard tractor to load it straight on from the side. Neither one was running. Hopefully the husband/wife team learned something

So far I installed my new set of tires on the Superduty. Almost $1500 in tires, Michelin 275/70/18 ATX2. Hopefully these give me another 10 plus years! Still made in America!

Replaced the AC blower motor resistor and connector on the Ford Expedition. We've been having problems with the blower cutting off intermittently and it usually restarts if you move the wire down near the blower motor connection. I replaced the connector to the blower motor last year and the problem went away for awhile. This time it was the connection at the resistor.

Bolted the 1“ plywood sheet with the engine and alternator the the Generator Cart frame, made the electrical connections, added fuel and oil and test ran the engine.

Found the batteries in my meters were dead, was unable to measure the alternator output.

Showed Son how to replace the capacitor in his Air Conditioner.

Purchased steel to fabricate a Belt Guard and new batteries for my test equipment.

Not a damn thing. Took the ZX11 out this morning for a run down to the dealership & the bike ran absolutely perfect. Maybe it was just happy that I was going to pick up ZX11 parts for it.
Probably fit some of the parts tomorrow.. or maybe I'll take the ZRX11 out & give it a run before the carbs gum up.

Finally made some progress on drilling the holes in the furniture components. 264 holes down, many more to go. Didn't get much done on it last couple days. I've fallen well off my intended pace. Sunday midday at my folks working on their guest bedroom closet interior. Tuesday medical appts. I'll be lucky to have the two matching bookcases assembled by Friday.

Finally got the cylinder heads back onto the Tecumseh OV691 engine in my 2005 AGS/Seco LawnBoss 18 h.p. ride-on lawnmower.
The delay was due to being unable to obtain head gaskets, suppliers in Ireland and the U.K. hadn't got any (the Irish parts supplier actually laughed at me when they heard how old it was...).
I found 3 parts suppliers in the U.S. that had the gaskets but they wouldn't ship to Ireland ( + some U.S. websites won't even let me open them, something to do with the new GDPR regs. ).
Finally went old school and made some replacements from good ol' annealed copper sheet, - should've done this months ago, - cutting 1 acre of grass with a little 14" cut non-self-propelled walk-behind gas mower was a right pain.

Nevertheless, great job on the refinishing , I've always loved how the grain comes alive when sanded and coated with e.g. clear lacquer.

I'll get a picture tomorrow. It's a go cart solid rim with an axel hole through the middle. The go kart is some weird off brand. Most of the parts on it are weird sizes.

My knee mill shouldn't have any issues boring a 3/4" hole through the middle of it.

I got some work done on the motorcycle. I pop riveted the plastic parts onto the rear fender and got it partially mounted on the bike. Found some more fasteners that don't quite fit on this aftermarket fender, so picked up replacements. Maybe I'll finally get it finished tomorrow.

Hopefully they work better for F.T.C. being that they are on a heavier Super Duty. I put a set on the 2011 F150 I had. Wet and snow traction sucked. They did wear great.

I'd recommend the BFG KO All Terrain..

Too wide for the planer. Thought about quartering it to cut out the mark and the adding a strip of maple or walnut for contrast.
Said fuggit and went with it as is, only took a few hours to do as is.

i finally got a chance to spend a few hours in my garage today.
didn‘t accomplish a whole lot..... it took me a few minutes to even figure out where I’d left off on this project.
anyways, I managed to start fitting a couple of rust repair panels for the rear floor and firewall on my 914 project.
now I need to figure out a quick easy way to build a temporary cocoon/ booth area, so I can spot blast some of the rust and prime the areas without totally covering my shop with media and overspray.

• Removed cars, turned on fans, and used the leaf blower to remove dust and dirt.
• Organizing my new car care towels and figuring out the best way to label them for use (tires, wash windows, clean windows, etc). Bought a great package of towels to be able to break it out by task, including washing, drying, and detailing.
• Cleaned the sink. Lots of muck up in it.
• Trying to figure out how to cool the garage without A/C or minisplit. Fans on and it is 87* F and only gets to around 81*F overnight. More attic insulation? Attic Fan (ie, whole house fan)? No windows can open, so it is either doors open or closed.
• Figuring out next best option to mark lines on the ground. Currently, they are a 'floor tape', but that only lasts so long in a garage with cars that are used in rain and snow. Trying to find a reflective paint (not luminous, as the garage is normally dark)
• Moving some scrap wood to the firepit for future kindling.
• Getting scrap metal organized for the local scrap guy, who donates to the local HS sports teams that his children participate on. (he is a hustler and makes the kids work with him to get in - - gotta earn it!)
• Getting ready for the backwall reorg with new storage shelves. Need to clean stuff up and find new homes for them, including the parts leftover from my wife's SAE Formula Car that are mounted on the wall currently.

I have gotten stuck in this truck more than any other truck I've owned, but that was with the factory original 'all terrain' Continental's. They were way too hard and had a poor tread design.

After I bought the first set Michelin's I found a 4x4 hiding in my truck! Great tire and I highly recommend them for road duty and light 4x4 ing. The tread cleans out nice and the performs well in snow too.

In and out of the garage. I poured two more concrete footings/pilings for my fence project this morning. 17 - 80# bags mixed poured and done before 1pm. The picture is me carting the large fan out because the mixer overheated 1/2 way thru the pour. It was hot outside! Slightly annoyed as I thought the generator with an extra short cord would remedy the overheating issue. I guess not!

I also cleaned up an acid spill in the garage. The battery on the generator boiled over and leaked on my floor.

Got everyone involved with washing cars, - Power washed my DD rig, and actually hand washed it's hood, and fully power and hand washed the other two, and cleaned the interiors.. I didn't touch the project van...

Put the machines and big boxes out. Welded up a couple very robust property markers. Welded up an aluminum part of a pergola. Pulled the watts link off the kid's PT. Discovered that Assvance had the wrong production dates on the parts. Looked up the correct part on the, new to me, shop computer. Put the boxes back inside.

Hung my old grill and weight bench. Cleaning out the kids room, Theres a kids size SCBA made out of an old fire extinguisher. Hes no longer in to it so I put it under my MSA in my shop for decor. Next project is an old pressure washer I need to go through and get running.
